Hey Badcompany, Inadequacy needs help

He has one of those d-link wireless router things, it says he is connected at 65mb/sec however whenever he tries to bring up a webpage it times out.

Any suggestions?

It's a shame that you have addressed this enquiry specifically to Bad Company as I feel I could have helped you here.

Oh well.

El Fangel 09-30-2009 07:07 PM

Well he is the only one online I am sure who would know this and I did it to grab his attention.

However any and all are welcome to help out.

I know the answer to this. Unfortunately for Inadequacy, I am not Bad Company.

Everybody PM answers to compare.

Wow. We are all on the same track with this problem.

G 09-30-2009 09:31 PM

Yeah, I was pretty surprised that everyone gave me the same (correct) answer.

It should have a wired port as well, has he tested that? Just to make sure his connection up.

Also, try a repair on his connection.

I don't use wireless, it's balls.

I have no clue, he moved to the city and just got his comp back and has no sweet clue whats going on.

He has a desktop and the router is on the first floor so he would have to move his whole system downstairs to test that.

Mozilla and Explorer time out, however Ares is working fine for him and I have been unable to find any troubleshooting sites for it.
