Sixx 10-24-2009 06:26 AM

Girl in a Coma is possibly one of the stupidest band names ever.

And mind you, I listen to Cinderella.

Penner 10-24-2009 03:04 PM

In November:

The Cranberries
Brand New and Glassjaw

You'd seriously just want to run around with some clippers and buzz all of their heads.

Penner 10-25-2009 02:37 PM

A Day To Remember is good in my opinion. Catchy stuff, good singer.

Fucking amazing show by Bayside and the Bouncing Souls. Rocked my ass off to Bayside and then hung out with them by their merch booth and watched the Souls. I had met Bayside a few times, but this is my first time hanging out with them. Best night ever.

ron the dial 10-26-2009 09:38 PM

so my band has our first official show on friday night at the Oak Park Lounge. i know that 3 other bands are playing, all 3 featuring my vocalist/guitar player on drums. we're sharing drum duties for one of those 3 (johnny a) and in one of the other's (sewage fruit) he'll be on the kit and i'll just be on extra percussion pieces (toms, tambourine, jimbe or however you spell it) making some noise. we jammed like that the other night for the first time and it was pretty cool. a nice little musical collective going on around here. hopefully i'll have some pictures to share.

Bad Guy 11-02-2009 12:46 AM

I got free tickets for Matisyahu tonight. The music is OK but I could really do without the religious crap he spews about Zionism and such.
