Yeah I checked wikipedia again. someone must have updated it with bad info.

They are thinking it will not take place since it has been post-poned multiple times before

Is Lashley considered a real MMA fighter? Is Bob Sapp? I'm slightly confused on the whole make up of MMA. I know there are other companies besides UFC.

Yeah Bob Sapp has been in Pride or K-1 or both. I don't think many consider Lashley a real MMA fighter since he hasn't beaten/fought anyone relatively famous besides Sapp but from the fights I've seen so far I think he has potential at least on the ground. He's taking the long route and working his way up which is the opposite of Brock.

Well the reason I ask about Lashley is because of his involvement in TNA. Lashley isn't near the name Lanser is...but I'm still surprised UFC hasn't taken interest in him.

He probably only desires to wrestle because it is decent money. If Lashley got UFC money, then he probably would stop.

Also, I can see UFC not wanting to sign him because getting him right after Lesnar would start raising questions.

I figure after they are done with Kimbo Slice they might look at Lashley more seriously.

Lashley could probably get into the UFC pretty quickly if he wanted. Right here in Edmonton some bum tried to taunt Lashley by wearing a Lucha mask right before their fight. Lashley choked him out in 24 seconds. Plus he dismantled Sapp, who is actually quite bigger than him. Ok, I know Sapp sucks at anything that isn't stand up, but he seriously got tooled. Tapping out from punches?

Anyway, Lashley said he's not looking to go to the UFC right away as he's focused on gaining experience and building up his ability first.

That's the vid I posted. Lashley looks vicious. I never seen a guy tap from that position. Usually the dude wriggles out or something but looks like Lashley is holding onto him like an Anaconda.
