Really don't like this show. Definitely funny and well written, but its far too pretentious and self aware in that obnoxious Wes Anderson kind of way for me to enjoy it

I don't think so. I see what you are saying, since I feel the same way about Wes Anderson's movies, but this is def way, way less "pretentious" to me.

Yeah I've liked it so far. I've been kinda half paying attention though everytime I watch it so I haven't found it mind blowing or anything, liked seeing Jim Jarmusch on it though.

I think it is extremely good.

Going to give this another shot. Was in a particularly misanthropic mood when I saw the pilot and just got annoyed. SO YEAH

It gets better as you watch it. I'm still a bit undecided on it, having completed season 1. It's one of those shows where I keep watching because I think I can see it going somewhere really good. It's like something I can "appreciate" more than love right now, but it's got a lot that could work. Don't know. Can't wait to see season 2.

Last couple of episodes seemed a bit weaker than the start of the season but still really like this show.

I was flipping through the channels and ended up watching and enjoying this show last year. What time is it on?

Directv 101 ran the Sperm Donor Episode and the Boxing episode last week and I watched out of boredom but I didnt think it was that funny.

It's Sunday Nights 10:00 pm EST. So, there is a new episode tonight! It's right before Eastbound and Down on HBO.

The first episode of season 2 was good, but not not as good as a season prem could be, I thought anyway.

That bit with the gimp suit was fine until he turned up at the publication building, just seemed forced.

HBO shows usually don't have enough time (episode numbers) to blow it on a big season premier type episode. They also don't have to do such things because they aren't after getting advertisers like a traditional station is.

I also didn't get why he went to his work rather than simply going home. That was a little bit stupid when he knew that George was in a meeting with the magazines' new ultra-conservative Christian republican owners.

2nd ep was a lot better than the first I think.

Yeah 2nd ep was great. Just like eastbound and down, 2nd was better than first. Guess they needed to establish wat's going on.

Eastbound and Down's episode was so fucking good. Espciallly the introduction and Kenny's in game intro. I marked out more than when Cena lost and had to join Nexus and more than when edge won the royal rumble.

Yep, second episode was better, good stuff! :D
