Chinese Democracy is fucking good.
 

Now that the album has been out for a while and has been in my regular rotation for some time now, I can honestly say that I enjoy this album more than some of the shit on the Use Your Illusion albums.

I really like Madagascar.

Anything is better than Use Your Illusion Vol. 2. But I have yet to check the album out.

Im gonna tell you what i told my buddy....its not that i dislike the album, its that it doesnt sound like GnR. He should have given the band a new name. Some bands are synonymous with a sound (like RATM, GnR, etc), so to plop this in and call it a Guns n' Roses album, seems to suggest its bad. Its not bad, its just got Guns n' Roses.

Pretty hit or miss, IMO.

Yeah, pretty much. I enjoyed Madagascar, and a few others, but it don't compare to the old shit. His voice was still surprisingly good overall, but the musicianship is utter shit compared to the old GnR. Lots of filler on the album.

Oh yeah, and I actually liked both Use Your Illusion albums.

It's fuckin Tremendous.

AXL Rose is a rock star.

I want my Rock Stars to be douche bags.

But not GINGER douchebags.

Especially ginger douchebags.

The only song i replay alot and really really like is There Was A Time

There Was a Time has the best epic guitar solo outro. Signature Guns N' Roses.
