Sheamus

i know it's already been mentioned before, but he has a definite future in the wwe business.

give or take 2 years and he can be a top heel!

Afterlife 10-10-2009 09:36 PM

He seems really bland, so yeah, I'm sure he's a future world champ.

EDWARD 10-10-2009 09:42 PM

yea

Swiss Ultimate 10-10-2009 09:48 PM

He reminds me of a hobbit.

Sixx 10-10-2009 10:01 PM

He is ginger so he wouldn't work as a face, really.

ROFL, I think he had what it takes to be a champion, but he needs a little more time to develop..... very similar to Jack Swagger.... only Swagger is ahead of him by a year..... I can definately see Sheamus as a heel and Swagger as a "Kurt Angle type" face feuding for a World Title in 2 years time

Jack Swagger definitely has the Kurt Angle aesthetic going for him. Hopefully this "undefeated through the rest of the year" storyline can get him some more heat. Towards the end of the year he could come out and start a feud with Randy Orton because he ran out of "faces" to beat, which would make a great face turn for him.

I like Sheamus. He has natural ability, but the current writing/creative team has no idea how to develop characters. Everyone seems bland as gas station coffee right now.

Droford 10-10-2009 10:33 PM

They need to introduce him to either tanning beds or fake spray on tans.

Juan 10-10-2009 10:48 PM

so he can look like randy orton? sometimes being different is ok

What Would Kevin Do? 10-10-2009 10:53 PM

Totally off topic, but I'd love to see Swagger go undefeated for a long ass time, and win MitB at Mania, only for him to cash it in and have his undefeated streak broken when he cashes it in... I think it'd just be an interesting angle to have him go from being insanely egotistical on a winning streak, to losing all his confidence by losing the one that matters....

Skippord 10-10-2009 11:24 PM

I love Sheamus

I believe I've said this several times

To look like Orton he'd have to shave his head and get a bunch of tattoos.

Rammsteinmad 10-11-2009 02:45 AM

I've yet to watch a Sheamus match. :(

Waylander 10-11-2009 07:17 AM

I like Sheamus from his IWW days and think he could have a good future, but whether they would want to have a pasty ginger bloke representing them is another story.

Mr. Nerfect 10-11-2009 08:38 AM

Sheamus hasn't made me a massive fan, or anything, but he is obvious a decent and capable worker. He's really fucking solid, and he's got an interesting look. The dude can also be pretty entertaining on the mic. I see him being drafted to SmackDown! next year, and being one of those guys that we cum about having so much potential.

Blitz 10-11-2009 01:11 PM

in the wwe business.

Afterlife 10-11-2009 03:10 PM

Eh. THe thing is, I do see potential in Sheamus. I just...can't see me interested at all.

Rammsteinmad 10-11-2009 03:33 PM

I've not seen any Sheamus yet, but judging by peoples opinions of him, I'm gonna predict that he'll be teamed up with Shelton Benjamin some time before the end of 2010.

They're currently feuding, and it's not doing a damn thing for me.

Droford 10-11-2009 04:39 PM

They should find a way to do Shelton/Truth vs Sheamus/McIntyre

The Jayman 10-11-2009 05:13 PM

I'm a big fan of the Celtic Warrior.

Find a way? They're of similar races, what more do you need?! :shifty:

Sixx 10-11-2009 10:14 PM

Scotts are a race!

Yeah..they really should find a way to do

Kofi Kingston/Mark Henry/MVP/R Truth/Shelton vs Regal/Burchill/Sheamus/McIntyre/Finlay

I smell a Survivor Series Match.

Anybody Thrilla 10-12-2009 12:10 AM

I don't DISLIKE Sheamus. I don't really mark for him, though. Before he debuted on ECW, he had a dark match with Jimmy Wang Yang on the May 19th () ECW, and he cut a really good promo. That was the first time I had ever seen him.

Also, his music is pretty great. I'll give him that.

Anybody Thrilla 10-12-2009 12:11 AM

Moreover, is he supposed to be a tweener? He smiles too much for a heel.

This would be fan-fucking-tastic and worth the price of an entire PPV. Just imagine all of the racial slurs, binge drinking, and gang violence involved... oh wait, they would never do it now. Fuck, it would be excellent though.

Anybody Thrilla 10-12-2009 12:50 AM

Nothing with R-Truth is excellent.

LuigiD 10-12-2009 01:17 AM

I saw some of Sheamus' first matches at FCW. I was surprised when I heard he was headed for TV. I thought it was kinda cool. But yeah..I don't know where he is headed. I think he will probably end up in the mid-card.

Gertner 10-12-2009 01:39 AM

A United Kingdom wrestler will never be world champ.

Skippord 10-12-2009 02:44 AM

I think he should talk more

his accent is dreamy

Juan 10-12-2009 02:49 AM

i love the way he says "ECW"

CWK 10-12-2009 03:34 AM

Sheamus will be a very popular wrestler I think, but damn, I thought paste was white. He just gave white a new fuckin' meaning and color

Phenomenal 1 10-12-2009 01:53 PM

They should change his theme to Biscuits n Gravy

Mr. Nerfect 10-12-2009 11:07 PM

If ECW had a secondary title; Sheamus and Shelton should be feuding over it right now.

as far as I know, Sheamus is from Dublin. Dublin is not part of Northern Ireland..therefore, not part of the United Kingdom. Unless I am wrong.
