guys who left WWF and made it big in WCW

How many of these guys exist. We all the know the reverse with guys like Austin and Jericho who were underused in WCW and became huge for WWF, but how many went the opposite direction?

BigDaddyCool 10-14-2009 01:19 PM

Well Hogan, Hall, and Nash all had their careers revitalized. Jeff Jarrett finally got "big" in WCW.

Ermaximus 10-14-2009 01:21 PM

Sting?

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 01:24 PM

Hogan Hall and Nash weren't underused in WWF though. I'm talking guys that WWF missed the boat on.

Um, no

You know what Supreme, this is really difficult.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 01:41 PM

That's what I'm saying. I can't think of any. There's gotta be some though

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 01:42 PM

Jarrett is one.

Ermaximus 10-14-2009 01:43 PM

Ahmed Johnson....:shifty:

BigDaddyCool 10-14-2009 01:44 PM

I'm not sure they missed the boat on Jarrett, he didn't make it all that big in WCW, sure he was in mainevents, but he didn't belong there.

DrA 10-14-2009 01:50 PM

Jeff Jarrett ruined WCW for me. Here you have this guy who was barely an upper-mid carder in the WWF that switches over to WCW and soon becomes the WCW champion. It made WCW look weak.

well we all know that jarrett was russo's boy

Rammsteinmad 10-14-2009 02:18 PM

Shawn Stasiak?

I mean, he wasn't 'big', but he was always involved in some big (though usually lame) storyline.

Godfather4Life 10-14-2009 02:31 PM

on the flip side HHH made it big in WWF after WCW let him go..same for Austin, The Undertaker and others shows you how much poor judgment wcw had

The Jayman 10-14-2009 03:08 PM

Jarrett is the only one I can think of also. he went from a wwf nobody to a wcw big nobody

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 03:16 PM

I guess Konnan is another one.

BigDaddyCool 10-14-2009 03:19 PM

Yeah...I can see Konnan counting.

BigDaddyCool 10-14-2009 03:28 PM

So you just posted a 1/3 of your entire posts in this thread? Fuck off.

BigDaddyCool 10-14-2009 03:32 PM

No you don't.

Ermaximus 10-14-2009 03:35 PM

Start by jumping off your roof.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 03:37 PM

Wow calm down dickheads.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 03:37 PM

Raven was underused in the WWF then went to ECW and then went to WCW where he got a pretty decent push.

Why?

DaveBrawl 10-14-2009 03:38 PM

Hey some of us did it when we started the account, and still use the board defaults.

redoneja 10-14-2009 03:41 PM

Barry Windham

I thought he was in ECW first then WCW and then WWE?

Actually upon further review I don't think the board defaults are still around. I may be the only one that uses them anyway.

Actually he started in WCW as Scotty Flamingo, then went to WWF where he was Johnny Polo where he mostly managed/commentated, then he went to ECW where he became Raven, then went back to WCW as Raven, then back to ECW, then to WWF, then to TNA

So basically Raven was like an STD?

Supreme Olajuwon 10-14-2009 04:03 PM

A badass STD, yes.

redoneja 10-14-2009 04:13 PM

Also, Kevin Sullivan. Although, as with Barry Windham, I don't know what your timeframe is regarding this question. If it's the mid 90s then scratch these two off

Bubba 10-14-2009 04:32 PM

Virgil?

Bubba 10-14-2009 04:33 PM

Oh and BigDaddyCool is a homo, fact!

Franchisedone 10-14-2009 05:03 PM

I mostly just look and see what everyone has posted and never post myself...but this is a tough thread...because most of the wrestlers have always bounced back and forth between the two...just take the andersons, the flairs and other names...there are numorous names considering Hall and nash where both in the WCW before they went to the WWF its hard to say...maybe im just rumbling on...but its really gonna just be hard to name anyone...

You thought Sting was in the WWF...

#1-norm-fan 10-14-2009 06:33 PM

Yeah I don't really think there are any. Even the ones mentioned here are only mentioned because people are trying too hard. There's no example of HHH or Austin or Taker. No one even remotely close.

And even for the people trying to say Hall and Nash getting their careers rejuvenated, if you remember, they were both misused by WCW before going to WWE and becoming stars in the first place.
