This movie is so stupid. I mean, wow. Rock with the big talk in court that turned his sentence from 18 years in prison to being sheriff? WOW.

WHY THE FUCK DO I ENJOY THIS MOVIE AND HAVE SEEN IT 3 TIMES ALREADY?

Bah... The reason I started this thread is because I'm watching it for the 4th time right now. I love it as well.

But you can't deny it's stupid as hell, can you?

Have you seen the one with Kevin Sorbo?

It is completely ridiculous, but I love The Rock, Neal McDonough and Knoxville. :love:

Nope, but this is just a stupid sequel to this Rock version. By The Rock version I meant to seperate it from the original one from 1973, which was pretty bad-ass.

And I do not need to see TV Hercules playing a manly man anymore.

Btw, I almost forgot about the scene where The Rock fixes his open-broke (I don't know the right term, but ya know, when the bone rips through the skin) leg and then it's just fine.

It was a TV movie... with Sorbo. It MUST have been horrible.

According to imdb there were two parts with Sorbo. Lone Justice and Payback. And not even for tv but for video. Both released the same year. Wow.

How does the Sherriff's office work in the U.S anyway... I understand they are ellected per county, do they out-rank local PD's? what do they do?

Yes they are elected per county.

As far as outranking local PDs, I guess it depends on the area.
