IWC's second biggest argument

So I was thinking about how much fun the arguments between the Hart fans and the Kliq are. It's such a delightful clusterfuck. I'm pretty sure that's the biggest argument within the IWC.

I'm thinking the second biggest argument is either Flair/Foley or WCW/ECW.
So, what's the IWC's second biggest argument?

Fabien Barthez 10-17-2009 06:42 PM

Golden age of pro wrestling, surely? Every argument is pretty much about comparative quality compared to the past.

Xero 10-17-2009 06:43 PM

Wrestling vs "Sports Entertainment"

Fabien Barthez 10-17-2009 06:44 PM

I think that ties into what I said, really.

Xero 10-17-2009 06:46 PM

True.

I think on here it is acceptance of WWE vs other current organizations. It seems like alot o people on here are strict WWE fans and look down on TNA, RoH, other American indys, Lucha promotions, and Japanese promotions. And then there are people who like a bit of everything and those that seem to be very anti-WWE.

That the WWE going kid friendly is the downfall of wrestling even though their views represent 2% of all wrestling fans.

Sixx 10-18-2009 12:10 AM

I love WWE.

Fuck wrestling, if I'd want to watch 2 oiled up spandex-wearing guys touching eachother I'd ask Afterlife for a link.

Sixx 10-18-2009 12:10 AM

Btw, link?

Who is the greatest of all time...Triple H or Shawn Michaels?

James Steele 10-18-2009 04:03 AM

Best Triple H Theme..."My Time" or "The Game"?

Juan 10-18-2009 04:05 AM

Who was more important to the WWF Attitude era, Steve Austin or The Rock?

Xero 10-18-2009 04:05 AM

My Time won out, that one's been done.

I need to get BOTT 13 up, fuck.

Swiss Ultimate 10-18-2009 04:13 AM

I think the biggest argument I've seen about wrestling, one that wasn't "fun" by any means, was the one over Chris Benoit and how wrestling fans should react over his murder/suicide.

It destroys forums and chat rooms and people get legitimately angry about it. Should we pretend he never existed like the WWE does? Should we hate the man and love the matches? Should we acknowledge he was a wrestler, a great wrestler, but never watch any of his stuff again?

*shudders*

Don't answer those questions...I don't want to get into it.

Stone Cold no doubt about it

I dunno if I've heard a chant like this for Austin. I could be wrong...

If there wouldn't have been a Stone Cold Steve Austin in 1997, there wouldn't have been "THE ROCK" as we knew him from 98-03.

James Steele 10-18-2009 05:30 AM

Stone Cold Steve Austin helped build and setup the Attitude Era and set it up perfectly for The Rock to take over when SCSA went down in 99.

Then it's fair to say that HBK helped push the limits and prep the Attitude Era for the success it was.
