Since the brand split

Has any one wrestler stayed on the same program the whole time? (between releases and what not)

Vastardikai 10-19-2009 02:22 PM

Shawn Micheals?

Cool King 10-19-2009 02:24 PM

Jerry Lawler.

Evil Vito 10-19-2009 02:24 PM

In terms of people on the active wrestler roster at the draft, I'm pretty sure Funaki/Kung Fu Naki is the ONLY one left on his original show from 2002 without ever moving.

The Jayman 10-19-2009 02:27 PM

As far as anyone goes I think Kurt Angle never left Smackdown

RGWhat316 10-19-2009 02:27 PM

The only ones that come to mind on me are Shawn, Undertaker, and Mickie. Even though I can cross Mickie off the list cus she just got moved to SD. Shawn has only made a couple of appearances on SD, so he has mainly been a RAW guy. And Taker has been mainly a SD guy.

He was on Raw, when Cena was really being booed, even when Kurt was doing everything short of shooting babies in the head and eating their hearts every week.

Xero 10-19-2009 02:31 PM

He was. That's when he had that terrible extended intro that went on for like 30 seconds and the theme without the You Suck parts.

yeah you're right. it was in 2005 and then he was drafted to ecw in 2006 and then future endeavored

The Jayman 10-19-2009 02:37 PM

no he started on SD

Cool King 10-19-2009 02:38 PM

He was the owner of SmackDown when the whole Draft thing began.

The Jayman 10-19-2009 02:39 PM

and Flair was the owner of Raw...that reminds me. Flair I don't think left Raw

Xero 10-19-2009 02:40 PM

He was drafted to SD in the 2007 draft.

The Jayman 10-19-2009 02:50 PM

I forgot since it was so short lived

Taker was originally drafted to Raw.

Ermaximus 10-19-2009 03:44 PM

Santino?

JT 10-19-2009 04:03 PM

Shawn Michaels who came back to WWE in 2002 just after the draft started, and been there ever since.

Also Austin, but this is also around the time he started dropping out of shows, and ended up more or less retired soon after full time...so don't know how much he counts.

JT 10-19-2009 04:07 PM

Yea, looks like Funaki is the only one to never change brands where you aren't making exceptions to anything.

Yeah I think you are right on this one. I was thinking when the draft began that Taker was undisputed champ and could appear on any show. But now I think about it, he didnt become champion unitl a month after the draft.

parkmania 10-19-2009 11:21 PM

Lawler's not been around the whole time, IIRC. Wasn't he still gone in support of The Kat when the brand split officially started?

no, he came back in November 2001. well before the split

Mr. Nerfect 10-20-2009 07:20 AM

Jerry Lawler and Funaki are probably the only two. There are quite a few guys that have only worked for one brand, though, despite not being there at the very beginning:

Cody Rhodes (RAW)
Santino Marella (RAW)
Shawn Michaels (RAW)

Eric Escobar (SmackDown!)
Jimmy Wang Yang (SmackDown!)
Michelle McCool (SmackDown!)
R-Truth (SmackDown!)
Slam Master J (SmackDown)

Abraham Washington (ECW)
Courtney Taylor (ECW)
Gabriel (ECW)
Savannah (ECW)
Sheamus (ECW)
Tiffany (ECW)
Tony Atlas (ECW)
Tyler Reks (ECW)
Yoshi Tatsu (ECW)

Anyone around for less than a year can't count because they weren't around/weren't established enough to be moved.

Anyone around less than 2 years I would still consider "pushing it".

Droford 10-23-2009 06:21 AM

If Lawler counts then Lillian Garcia would have counted had she not left.

You mean the one with the annoying-ass cymbals or drums in the background?

No, this one:

Completely edited out the "You Suck" parts.

I really like this one. Probably my favorite. and it made sense since they had kinda repackaged Angle's gimmick. The "You Suck" chants would have ruined it.

TerranRich 11-05-2009 05:56 PM

I, too, like Kurt Angle's final WWE theme the best of them all. It was just a great remix/edit and the "You Suck" chants were getting old anyway.

Really dig the electric guitar near the middle/end. :D

XCaliber 11-05-2009 06:48 PM

Michaels is the only one.

Team Sheep 11-05-2009 07:13 PM

Just Shawn Michaels.

And Eddie Guerrero of course was never on Raw but I guess that doesn't count.

Eddie was on RAW for awhile not long after he was with Chyna cuz he was still using the Latino Heat gimmick.

If they were to get rid of the annoying rap lyrics in this song, I think it'd sound rather epic.

Angle was on RAW before he won the WHC in January of 2006 in the battle royal on Smackdown the night Batista vacated the title due to injury. If memory serves, he eliminated Mark Henry with a head scissors and dragging him over the top rope.

Angle also was drafted to ECW in 2006.

Undertaker has never been on the RAW roster since the brand split. He's always been on Smackdown I may be wrong, but I think he's officially always been on Smackdown.

Without lyrics it's pretty much a 10 second loop.

Karen Angle used an instrumental loop of this song at one point. Funny... the only release that's out there is 10 seconds long. :D
