Booking 101 tells that
Since Johny boy lost to HHH on Raw, he is bound to win the WWE Heavyweight title at Bragging Rights. :nono:
|
probably?
|
Actually no, I feel it means he's off RAW for a bit, because Hunter went over CLEAN. That made NO sense whatsoever.
|
i agree with Xero. the CLEAN win did not make sense and therefore he is SD bound
|
I heard Cena was backstage at the Impact tapings. Apparently WWE were "dragging their feet" at getting him to Smackdown so he's gone to TNA instead.

I can see it going either way. On one hand, Cena has put Triple H over, and going to SmackDown! would freshen him up, give them star power, etc. On the other hand, never, ever be surprised when Cena wins. It'd be so like the WWE to have him "overcome the odds!" I still think a draw is the likely outcome. Whether they use this to still keep Cena on RAW, and give him yet another match in "the rivalry," or if they have Orton claim that since Cena didn't win the title, he has to leave, I don't know.
|
Booking 101 tells that... if the face is in control of the match before the commercial break, he will be getting beaten down when the wrestling show returns
|
Cena will lose at Bragging Rights. Cena will win the Rumble.

I think Cena will probably end up on Smackdown. If he stays on Raw as the face champion he has zero challengers. The better choice is to keep Orton champion and then start his mini-program with Dibiase.
Not to mention that putting Cena on Smackdown now gives them an excuse to do Cena/Taker at Mania. It may not be the Mania match we all want to see, but it makes the most sense. Cena is the biggest active opponent that Taker hasn't beaten at Mania. It will be easy to keep them apart until then given that they are both faces and Taker may work an on/off schedule. |

I doubt it. They can give him a great build coming in as being John Cena, Unstoppable, but I don't think he will end it.

he will "overcome the odds"

I just watched Cena vs HHH on youtube.
Funny how you could hear those high-pithced voices going CENA, CENA, CENA, and all the others going MEH. |

I have trouble buying Cena on Smackdown just because he's their workhorse and Raw's the flagship show. I doubt WWE's worried about "freshening up" Cena, and while Smackdown is aimed at the kiddie market more, I can't see them removing their big player from their big show. On the other hand, they can edit his responses so he gets the biggest pops of the night....

Plus, Michael Hayes cares about stories and such. They evolve, and he knows that you can't keep the same shit going forever when nothing really happens. I'm almost positive that Cena will end up in some fresh, progressive programs on SmackDown!. |
