I agree with the first part of your statement.

Appetite easily. Not taking anything away from Use your Illusion I and II, which are amazing cds.

Also, I don't like the Beatles.

Use you Illusion II is the biggest pile of shit ever. If GNR had put the two Illusion albums together, and trimmed off the filler, it would have a pretty decent album. It wouldn't have been the tastiness that is Appetite, but it would have probably shit all over the rubbish that is being produced today.

I mean.. The Beatles have a lot of good songs, but 'on the whole' they really don't have much that I listen to. Like, I couldn't sit down and listen to a whole Beatles album start to finish because outside of those good songs I really don't care about the rest of their music.

I'll admit the Beatles do have a lot of bullshit that makes you wonder how they got so big time. Their good songs are great but they have a ton of filler.

Octupus garden, the elephant song, yellow submarine..once they started getting all weird and shit, they sorta sucked.

Even the White Album....has a lot of filler.

Totally missed this thread, but Appetite for Destruction is one of my favorite albums.

I would have voted for Appetite, but i really live Illusions 2. Probably because Civil War might be my favorite GNR song ever.

My favourite song from that one is '14 years', especially the live version. There's a few others i really like to but it doesn't beat AFD, imo.
