Stephen King's It remake

Going into production now, and is set to come out in 2011.

If it's more like the book than I'm all for it.

They'd have to make it into a two-parter for it to capture everything everyone liked about the book. I think we can leave out the child sex part though.

Cast?

jcmoorehead 10-24-2009 05:22 PM

I wonder if they got Tim Curry as Pennywise again.

I wonder what Rob Zombie is doing in 2011...

I don't want anyone but Tim Curry to play Pennywise...but, he's maybe too old to play the character now???

How about Heath Ledger?

NO NO NO NO NO NONONONONO!

Fignuts 10-24-2009 11:48 PM

I couldn't stand the main character in the first one. No one who looks like that should be able to kill a giant all powerful, inter-dimensional spider thing.

I'll bet money that they leave it in, albeit not explicitly, just for shock value.

Yeah got a feeling that they won't include the child sex part.

So they're going to start remaking Stephen King movies already?

Disturbed316 10-25-2009 06:35 AM

It scared the crap out of me when I was younger, although a remake could be interesting.

Yeah the original movie was responsible for my child-hood fears of clowns, storm-drains and Tim Curry so I don't know about this.

one of my fav horror movies. everytime I am near a sewer the phrase "they all float down here" pops into my head.
