Wow, awesome promo by Kofi
 

Shocked that i'm saying this, but Kofi dropping the stupid accent was a good idea. You can tell the WWE is desperatly trying to build new stars.

I dunno if it's desperation or if it's the fact this guy has serious talents.

Yeah. I didn't like him before (and still am not a fan of his in-ring style) but I'm interested in him and something new on RAW. That says A LOT.

They'll probably fuck it up, but I'll watch before I pass judgement.

It's only "desperation" because they haven't been doing it.

And yes, Kofi was great.

ya know i was worried about him when he lost the title to miz, thinking he would be "future endeavored" but after watching raw tonight, i gotta say he is gonna be big one day!

This is a great repackaging. The accent and Jamaican themed personality were absolutely holding him back from sounding natural in interviews. Now he's free to develop a character based on who he actually is, rather than a stereotype of some guy from Jamaica. HHH would be busing tables right now if he kept his accent.

Already mentioned how great he was in the raw thread, but deserves another mention. That was attitude era style stuff.

Yeah. About a month ago there was a thread about Kofi and I said I could never see him going above US/Intercontinental level... but I may have been proven wrong tonight!

Kofi de-faced Randy Orton's new car.

1. Orton attacks Kingston after Kofi's match with Jericho.
2. Legacy present Randy with his very own NASCAR stock car as a gift
3. Legacy lose to MVP and Henry, Randy comes down for a promo with Legacy after the match
4. Kofi appears on the tron on top of the race car and proceeds to key it, smash it up a bit and dump a bucket of paint on it

Wow, that really was a pretty intense promo. Kudos to Kofi.

Fuck yeah, I'm on the Kofi bandwagon. I said last week that I think losing the Jamaican accent will be a step in the right direction.

Agreed. I liked Kofi flipping out and pissing off Orton.

I saw his face when the paint splashed on him and he made a fake angry face trying to hide his "ah fuck I got paint on me" reaction.

I like Kofi a lot

I am glad the bad accent was dropped, but car destroying promos have been done too many times so I lost interest. Not Koffi's fault, he did fine.

He forgot to spray paint poopy head on it.

Would have been interesting if he failed to keep his balance.

Vintage Kofi.

That was a very fucking cool segment. Kofi has never looked better. The man can bring it in the promos. Great intensity and delivery. We know he can back it up in the ring, so this could be good. I don't know if I'd rather see Kofi vs. Orton one-on-one at Survivor Series, or Orton & Legacy vs. Kofi, MVP & Henry with perhaps some more people added.

I have to give props to Kofi. That was the best promo he has ever done and I am looking forward to a Kofi vs Orton program.

I can see Kofi being Shelton Benjamin'd though, so we'll have to wait and see.

Nah, Kofi's mic skills far exceed Shelton's.

Some little things I loved about Kofi's promo:

* His line about "small things causing the most damage." It was a subtle reference to his size, and how he may not be the most intimidating guy on the roster -- but he is one of the most dangerous.

* He poured orange paint on the car...made me think of Nickelodeon.

You're giving the writers way too much credit there.

And don't love Nickelodeon too much, it will break your heart.

Kofi's promo, the Swagger/Miz altercation, and the Main Event Finish were the highlights of the night.

But Kofi's was a stand out.

As far as Kofi is concerned I'm reminded of Triple H on so many levels as far as Trips making small tweaks to his character that ended up making him a huge success. I'm hoping the same is true foe kofi

I think legacy attacked kofi after his match and c'mon even if kofi was just looking for a fight what guy is gonna let somebody just trash his car?
