Finally got to play this after my traumatic rrod. Really digging it so far.

Won't be getting this til next tuesday. Definitely want it tho.

Me and Khuntri rocking it now.

Decided tp rent this.

Should get it through gamefly shortly, and will buy it from them on the cheap. It should be great. I still play the shit out of Tekken 5: DR.

I really hate the boss in this.

Yeah he's a dick. Also, wtf at the size of him and that nancy thing. Ridiculous.

Also, such garbage that you have to play through that crap scenario mode to get character endings. Can't just do it through arcade. Nonsense.

As in the wacky fighting style, or as in another character you can just pound buttons with and win?

The game looks awesome. And Zafina/Eddy are not button mash characters. Sorry for your frustration.

Eddy definitely is. If you don't think Eddy is a button masher, you're bloody crazy.

That's not to say that Eddy can't be used extremely effectively and NOT as a button masher.

By that logic anybody can be a button masher. I use Christie very well, and a button masher player her/Eddy will not get far with me.

Button mashers can't beat skilled players in any fighting game. But for beginners, facing them can be tough when it comes to characters like eddie and zafina.

None of this applies to people like you, who are zen fucking masters of videogames.

Button mashers have no defense, just keep hitting them.

Yes and no. There's a shit ton of characters in Tekken who a button masher can't get anywhere with. Button mashers have a tendency to do well in Tekken with Eddy. Yeah, a person COULD mash buttons with Kazuya, but he'll be more likely to win button mashing with Eddy.

Obviously this applies to button mashers playing other people who don't know how to play, but still. A

Fucking hate this scenario mode bullshit.

I wonder if the team that made this said: "You know, Jinpachi just wasn't cheap ENOUGH. We need someone who can stun block. We also need 80% of his offense to hit on the ground, as well. Oh, and a good projectile attack that comes from literally nowhere. And maybe make him hit for ridiculous damage and have that one attack from flat on his ass like Ogre had."

I think Namco just said "Let's rape these people in the ass."

My first attempt at being the boss was with... wait for it... Kuma.

Damn was THAT a mistake.

Second attempt was with Armor King, at least the boss seemed mortal against AK.

The 360 controller pad is NOT Tekken friendly. While I can do moves, my thumb gets sore pressing extra hard to register 1/3/7/9 directions and double taps.

- Christie/Eddy (I play with Christie) has some badass toe-to-toe strings now. Very happy. I haven't messed with Eddy in a while. Is he still a skin or does he have moves of his own? I need to check.
- Lei Wu Long is FUCKING AWESOME now. His kung-fu stances are easier to access and his drunkin boxing stance kicks so much ass now!
- Devil Jin will piss people off once I get used to his new inputs. :)
- That fatass, Bob, is hilariously nimble.
- Yeah, scenario is kinda meh, but it coughs up money and items.

LOVE THE GAME. Can't wait to get used to the moves.

Was supposed to be out same as US, but Canada gets it Thursday. Fuck.

I got this game last night, but didn't get to play it. Looking forward to laying waste with Roger or Alex. And if they aren't in the game, then Ling Xiayou gets the nod.

Roger Jr's in. Eddy and Christie are in as two separate characters. Don't know why yet.

Move sets are different for the two. Obviously still a very similar play style but they are different this year.

Fucking awesome, gotta see his set.

Honestly; I actually prefer her set this year. Also Lily or whatever is fucking nasty. May have to main her.

Any strategies for beating azazel? I can't do it.

Any time you even get a head start on him, he mounts an unstoppable comeback.

I haven't fought the boss yet but if past Tekken bosses are any indication, spam the shit out of a rushing attack like Devil Jin's 66RP or Paul's 236RP. Something that smashes them back and forces the comp into a wake up game that humans should always be able to trump. Comp always excel in toe-to-toe fights so spamming and taking advantage of their limited imagination is ideal.

I beat Seth in SF4 by punishing his gay-ass machine-gun roundhouse with a sweep.

After the Heihachi part of the Scenario Mode, I must say: it's gonna take more than a 9mm glock to stop the patriarch of the Mishima household.

This is the same Heihachi who was in Soul Calibur II unarmed against everyone else who had weapons so a simple bullet wouldn't be enough to stop him.

Not to mention he survived a dogpile of JACK-5s exploding on him.

This suprises you why? It's Tekken. If there wasn't a gayass last boss, then it wouldn't be Tekken. I just keep blocking when he rools and charges with the claw attack from underground and when he flies up just run past where he will land and hit him from behind. Sadly he'll still get you, but if you wanna be cheap, just keep spamming the up and b button.
