As reported this morning, WWE will be debuting a new opening video for Monday Night RAW on next week’s show. In an update, the new theme song for RAW will be “Burn it to the Ground” by Nickelback. The song is also featured on the front page of WWE’s corporate website.

Of all the groups they could have picked they chose these guys? I don't mind their music in small doses but having to listen to this week after week will get old fast. I'd rather that they would have used what is now the SD theme instead which is probly one of the greatest that show has ever had.

Meh at the song and the current one for RAW as well. Never really liked it either.

As bad as Nickelback is, this is better than the Papa Roach one.

Can a rated pg show really have a theme song with so many references towards drinking?

Also I wish a plane would fall out of the sky and land on Nickelback.

At least Jeritron will be able to listen to some classic rock music every Monday night.

But seriously, fuck Nickelback.

I disagree. As bad as Papa Roach is, this one is pretty terrible. Even by comparison.

Not that it matters too much. I generally skip the intro. And then the guest host. And then most of the rest of the show. But I digress.

Im not all that impressed with this news. TV theme songs have gotten better lately as I like the Superstars, new SD theme, and even the TNA theme. But I dont care for Nickelback, so not looking forward to this.

It's pretty hard to be worse than Papa Roach...

I don't listen to Nickleback but the song is perfect for RAW.

i dont really like nickelback. i didn't like it at first, but i will admit, its grown on me. i think its a good choice

It's a "half-decent" song, for Nickelback. But everytime I hear it I am reminded of "Photograph" and "This is How You Remind Me."

I dunno, as far as Nickelback songs go, this one isn't too bad. Only time will tell, though.
