It doesn't bother me that Knox keeps losing. Maybe it's because I'm not the guy's biggest fan, but I think his size makes him a credible enough threat. It could also be Hayes testing to see how strong his connection with crowds can be. If he keeps losing and remains over -- it bodes well for him.
That being said, I think I would have booked things differently. With Shad being sick the previous week, they could have had him take the fall here (regardless of whether or not he needs "humbling"), and Knox could have gotten a big boost from pinning him. At least something to keep him above water. The Hart Dynasty were also coming off a big PPV win, so they could have gotten the technical victory and kept building momentum.
To be honest, the way R-Truth has been booked in the past two weeks or so, has made me think that an order has come down from high to protect him a little. He was made to almost look equal to Matt Hardy when they beat the original SmackDown! team to take their spots, and got to close the promo with his "catchphrase." He also only lost to McIntyre via countout the week before.
