We’re not sure how they’ve done it, but by some dastardly karmic injustice these 10 a-holes have made successful careers for themselves as comedians by… being about as funny as putting your dog to sleep. For whatever idiotic reason, everyone went along with the shams long enough to make these people into celebrities. We’re not saying we could do their jobs better, we’re just saying it wouldn’t have been hard to find someone who could. So without further adieu – The Top 10 Most Unfunny Comedians of All Time.
Disclaimer: It’s no surprise that Dane Cook made this list – being that he’s such an amazing, incredible douchebag. However – in the spirit of full disclosure – we must admit that Dane Cook was on the cover of the print edition of COED Magazine in 2006. But that’s all in the past – from the days when COED was run by delusional idiots who wished they were Dane’s buffer boys. We’re not them.

Also, fuck the magazine for NOT getting the brilliance of Gallagher. When he wasn't smashing shit with a hammer, he had some of the most intelligent observations of all time. Sadly, people only remember his smashing shit with a hammer.

Awful, awful article. First, I love that they're trying to hide the fact that they're just trend following dickheads who loved Dane Cook when it was trendy to like him and now hate him because it's trendy. And their reasoning for making the list is horrendous. Like the write-up about Sindbad: "In fact, we can’t remember a single joke this dude has told since 1987." Then how the fuck do you know he's unfunny, asshole?

They rip on Richard Lewis for his act just being him talking about how much he sucks. Yet I bet these same people loved Rodney Dangerfield and thought he was great at pointing out his own shortcomings.

And yet these writers get paid for this. Fascinating.

I agree with all, this is a terrible list. Pretty much everyone on that list, as much as I like some and hate others are solid comedians in their own way. They at least have some sense about it. It's clearly a trendy article and I would wager they really haven't seen much stand up from many of these individuals. And I would wonder what they label as unfunny as well. To of my favorite comedians are Lenny Bruce and Andy Kaufman. They aren't really crazy laugh out loud type of comedians to me. Should they be labeled as unfunny for that?

I watched the Blue Collar stuff for Ron White which is one of my top current favorites, and while I really dont like Larry the Cable Guy, its not the worst thing Ive ever seen, same goes for Jeff Foxworthy if he isn't doing lame "you might be a redneck.." jokes. The worst of the 4 was always Bill Engvall, who basically stole Foxworthy's concept and tried to run with it "something ridiculously stupid...HERES YOUR SIGN" but they were always really stupid.

As for Larry the Cable Guy, he was 10x worse before he became a Cable guy.

I don't hate Dane Cook or find him unfunny at all but he was funnier when he first appeared on Comedy Central. Also Jim Gaffigan has changed his style also but people still think he's great but he was much more hilarious back then.

If Dane Cook is not #1, the list is wrong.

Horrible list. Seems like they could do it as groups per rank instead of 1 at a time per ranking like how they say Gallaghar is bad but Carrot Top is the worst of that style.

Only one I sort of agree with is Fallon but he's getting better on the Tonight Show and if he could find a way to make the monologues flow better, the show wouldn't seem a bit awkward the 1st 5-10 minutes. His time on SNL was horrible though.

Thing is, if Dane Cook was funny, he would be hilarious.

The thing that bothered me was that they kept calling "Late Night" the "Late Show." Idiots. But I cannot disagree with some of their choices too much. Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia, especially.

All Americans, too. Never look beyond your own borders for anything. There are some atrocious comedians in the UK and over here, you know.

They didn't even scratch the surface of American comics, mind. Once they actually consider someone who doesn't have like 30 live DVDs, we'll get around to you lot.

There's a few that I would actually agree with here especially Griffin & Cook but there are others more worthy of this list such as Sean Cullen he's very unfunny to me just maybe not as well known.

I also find it funny that people are still on the Carlos Mencia "stealing jokes" kick.

Most of the jokes he's "stolen" are so old they were being told in the 70s when the risque business was really picking up. A couple of them sound like shit Carlin and Bruce were saying before that. And some of them were told by Carlin, as some of the mocking "stolen joke" videos on Youtube would demonstrate.

BAWWWWWWWWWWWW abotu him being uncreative, maybe, but not about him stealing the jokes. Whoever you think he "stole" them from, I can almost guarantee you that guy did not come up with them.

Dane Cook is kinda funny.

Carlos Mencia just sucks, I dont care about him stealing anything.

Jeff Dunham is the most overrated comedian out there right now.

I have posted my opinion on Dane Cook many times. I was considered a "hater" at first and now I am gay because I think he is alright. phuck you

Jeff Dunham needs to be on this though. I don't really know enough to really know who should and shouldn't be on the list/shitty australians or whatever mitchanthropic was talking about but Jeff Dunham is so bad. Just wow@ Jeff Dunham. I don't know why so many people like them. Dave Hughes is annoying as fuck, and does nothing but whinily rant about stuff nobody cares about. Wil Anderson keeps laughing at his own jokes and generally acting like a tosser in front of everyone.

And for some reason, the public buys it big time.

Kathy Griffin is terrible though.
