CBS and ESPN integration
Just played the demo for NCAA Basketball 10 and the presentation is absolutley amazing. Incredible. It feels like you're watching a real TV broadcast. The demo only had the CBS presentation but it was spot on. The sound effects, the ticker at the ticker at the bottom, EVERYTHING just flowed together seamlessly.
The graphics aren't great. The player/coaches/mascot/fan models are real pointy and almost PS2 like. The sound isn't great either. Repetitive crowd yells. The play-by-play was enthusiastic but comes up short sometimes. They're a little behind on the plays. But that's not my point. My point is motherfucking Madden needs to jump on this right now. John Madden retired so they can go ahead and use the ESPN license without pissing off NBC because Madden doesn't work for them anymore. So do it EA! Get on it! Christ! They don't listen to me. And definitly check out the NCAA demo and you'll be amazed by the presentation. Everything else falls short but the presentation just about makes up for it. |
I'll find vids when I get back. But I doubt a youtube vid will give the full effect.

that's amazing

Too bad the 2k series blws ea away, in basketball.

I agree and never said it doesn't. Actually I'm pretty sure I said the rest of the game is terrible besides the presentation.
My beef is with Madden. |

It takes a good seven seconds of load time if a fight for the fumble happens, anytime the game pans away from action is another seven seconds, whenever an mvp of the game decided it's another seven seconds. But NCAA Basketball gets two smooth presentations of the game. |
my only problem is is that i feel the camera is a bit higher than normal
