The destructible environment engine is expanded so buildings can be completely demolished. So gay for this game.

PS3 owners get a multiplayer beta Nov. 19 I think. :cool:

You get it for preordering at certain retailers as well. While I gave shit to publishers in the past for pulling this shit, I'll let this instance slide because it's a beta and not a demo. You are essentially dropping 5$ to help playtest the game, which is tad more noble on the user end. I don't have a PS3 but my buddy does, and I got him baptized in Battlefield with 1943 and he loves it - so I'll at least get to play if he preorders.

Love the first one, so I'll def pick this up.

Maybe the ranking requires even higher points? Pinball syndrome - 10pts =/= 10,000pts, simply because people like higher numbers.

Could of sworn Bad company had jets. Although I might be confusing it with frontline.

I guess they could also add an extra level per rank, like they did in 1943. Captain 1,2,3 Major 1,2,3 and so on.

Nothing like comparing 2 games that aren't even out yet.

lol In the "5 games you gotta have" thread people had MW2 and L4D2 in there! Also, being that both game aren't out I can compare them on based on what I know/seen so far. And it looks like I'd have more fun in BC2 than MW2.

Historical trivia, I returned CoD4 for Battlefield 2 two years ago when I seen the game was a tad overrated.

Only thing that interests me in BC2 is the destructible buildings. Been saying FPSs needed a geomod like engine since Red Faction came out.

BC2's Frostbite engine allows entire structures to be laid to waste. It looks awesome.

Lucky for me that's not the case.:)

I can't wait. Even though you could blow out most of the building in the first one I always got shot by someone who would be hinding in the corner

No idea, probably wanted to say hi.

I used to do that to tanks all the time in World at War, get close enough and they have to get out to kill you.

In Battlefield, snipers should have a device that takes out enemy vehicles. That guy simply had no idea what to do or he was just testing something out.
