Who wants to buy the BEST OF RAW: 2009!?

WWE thinks someone does.

From PWInsider:

Mark sent word that WWE will be released a "Raw: 2009 Season" 3 DVD set on 1/26/09, so for those of you who want to re-live the Guest Host era, you'll have your chance.

I am told this may end up released on Blu-Ray as WWE is looking at releasing more titles in that format next year.

Triple Naitch 11-08-2009 07:59 PM

Never understood why WWE wouldn't release each year's PPVs together in box set form along with a Best of Raw, Best of SmackDown, and Best of ECW from that year.

Anybody Thrilla 11-08-2009 08:00 PM

Any word on them releasing similar titles for previous years? I wouldn't mind having 1999 or so.

Fignuts 11-08-2009 08:26 PM

Really doubt it, thrilla.

Nicky Fives 11-08-2009 08:30 PM

They only release what the marks would buy..... not what the diehard fans would buy... I'd would kill for an un-edited complete boxset of Raw, especially 1998-2001

thedamndest 11-08-2009 08:31 PM

14 matches, 208 John Cena interview, and some Hornswoggle. Winner.

Tazz Dan 11-08-2009 08:41 PM

You forgot DX's 286th comeback. :y:

I would not care if it was 300 dollars, I would be the first in line to get it.

jerichoholicninja 11-08-2009 09:17 PM

That must be the shortest DVD ever.

owenbrown 11-08-2009 10:03 PM

probably the worst DVD ever more like it

I'm surprised they even managed to get a "Best Of 2009" DVD out of Raw this year.

Though saying that, it'll probably just be 1 minute and 36 seconds long and it would be this.

Its like the Best of Al Snow. The box is empty.

FourFifty 11-09-2009 12:42 AM

I wouldn't even illegally pirate it.

Rammsteinmad 11-09-2009 04:01 AM

A Best of Smackdown 2009 would be awesome. :y:

The Jayman 11-09-2009 08:26 AM

Yeah I would perfer the Best of Smackdown/ECW over Raw

HBPunk 11-09-2009 09:10 AM

i dunno what yer talking about nick and thrilla cos i got a best of raw 1998,best of raw 1999 and also one for 2001 bitches

Anybody Thrilla 11-09-2009 09:38 AM

Why do we have to be bitches because you have bootleg copies of somebody's idea of a best of? Either tell us where to get those, or fuck off.

IrishBulldozer 11-09-2009 04:12 PM

What? Did you say they are making a 3 disk Best of Chris Jericho DVD? Sweet dude.

I imagine he's referring to the Best of Raw volumes 1, 2 and 3. Half decent videos but hardly as thorough as you would like.

Agreed. I have those on VHS and they are only an hour long

Xero 11-09-2009 04:30 PM

The DVD releases of those are pretty good because they include a few extras (maybe an hours' worth on each). I have the first two, came in a set.

Still not enough, but they're decent.

CWK 11-10-2009 03:15 AM

If WWE really wanted to make money, they should sell entire episodes of RAW on DVD. You could access the RAW episode library online which has descriptions, etc. and you could pick which one you like and then they put it on DVD and send it to you. Make like 4 or 5 disc set with your favorite 10 episodes or something.

I also think they should re-release old WCW pay per views on DVD too. I'd buy those.

Rammsteinmad 11-10-2009 04:04 AM

Agree about the WCW thing. :y:

Savio 11-11-2009 02:26 PM

So......WWE is selling blank DVDs?

owenbrown 11-11-2009 04:50 PM
