Simple question, do you think that WWE should bring in/ back more masked wrestlers. They could be luchadores from mexico, (I heard that Dos Caras dosent even wear his mask and his cousin was released) or maybe guys that wear them to look more menacing, (Kane, Mortis, etc) or maybe some people who just wear them for the hell of it (no real reason, just do)

Having a mask doesn't create a better wrestler.

The Destroyer 11-14-2009 02:59 PM

You could at least have used an example of good masked wrestlers.

Lock Jaw 11-14-2009 03:13 PM

Yes. Because then they can have another mask replica to sell to kids, rather than just the one.

Thats true but most masked wrestlers are really athletic and good because most are highflying

I think we need more wrestlers who don't speak. Put a mask on an awesome wrestler and you basically give him an excuse not to say a word.

The WWE has become extremely formulaic with their product, they try to put every wrestler into the same mold and treat them all the same. Give me a silent monster or a masked foreigner any day over a cookie-cutter generic character.

Mind you, I hated Umaga and can't stand to watch Khali.

I'd like a few more but that's it though no need to go overboard.

The point of wearing a mask is what???? NO more masks

Juan 11-14-2009 04:35 PM

Dose it?

Vastardikai 11-14-2009 04:39 PM

You want to know who we need in the WWE? Danshoku Dino! :shifty:

Waylander 11-14-2009 04:51 PM

WWE needs more good wrestlers, how they look or what they wear is, or should be, irrelevant.

More variety. More high-flyers, brawlers, submission specialists, etc. Give Chris Jericho a mask and have him wrestle as a couple different people.

But aren't silent monsters and masked foreigners already pretty generic?

Chavo Classic 11-14-2009 10:29 PM

Nope, but it does need Delirious.

Wrong. Very few guys can get over based solely on wrestling (in WWE) and even less can make it marketable. WWE is a mainstream company, always will be, and as such must look for marketable guys.

I'm not saying that wrestling skills are irrelevant because they aren't (and if it were up to me it would have much more bearing), but in today's world of shirts and merch, you need a good gimmick that's marketable, and a lot of that has something to do with what they wear or how they look.

Yes, but there character doesn't get in the way of their ring work. It's like fucking a deaf mute. It might get boring after a while but, at least you're not going to have to listen to them bitch after you finish too soon.

Jannettyzilla 11-15-2009 01:14 AM

Yes. Evan Bourne, for one, would be far more over if he wore a mask. He's funny lookin'.

NoRoolz 11-15-2009 09:12 AM

I need more masks.

DAMN iNATOR 11-15-2009 09:18 AM

Kane should take some time off, grow his hair long again and return wearing the mask.
