Well, Taker vs. HBK was done in a better atmosphere on a bigger show and one on one is always better than triple threat matches. Same as the Wagner vs. Judas match from Triplemania match. Turning Point is a throwaway ppv.

Or not

lol you've got people like JR and columnists like Kevin Eck (as well as randoms like me) saying Taker/HBK was the match of the decade, and the best Wrestlemania match ever, and taker707 reckons it got beat by a random triple threat in a random TNA ppv.

taker707 11-16-2009 01:47 AM

please dont knock what i say if you have not seen the match thankyou

Overall I thought the show was a solid 4 out of 5.

My friend ordered the show, and I won;t lie I wasn't all that thrilled to go over and watch it, since I refused to watch tna programming for over the past year and a half, but they really showed me something.

The 2 matches that stick out to me the most are the obvious ones.

Angle/Wolfe was awesome. Thats the type of match I love to watch. Angle made Wolfe a star in this match. Worked the arm all match, broke out the london dungeon, back and forth..I really thought Nigel...er Desmond had a shot at winning. He has a bright future as long as they don't fuck it up.

The 3 way, It was very good. No disrepect to you taker707, but you can;t say this was better than Taker/HBK. I don't even think this was better than AJ/Joe/Styles one. Not taking away from the match though, it was great action, a lot of great offense shown by all 3 guys. For someone like me, who hasn't watched the programming in some time, it showed me why I fell in love with the product to begin with, was these 3 guys tearing the house down. Also glad to see AJ retain, he should have been champ a long time ago, and glad to see him finally getting the respect he deserves as THE top guy.

All in all, very good show and maybe even enough to get me back into the product. Time will tell.

This I respect .Someone who actually watched the show. I wish all the guys who come in here day in and day out knocking TNA and knocking WWE . But still watch WWE would at least give TNA a chance they have been pretty consistent lately .

ron the dial 11-16-2009 02:04 AM

the only televised wrestling i have watched lately is TNA. probably going to check out this ppv tomorrow. definitely more entertaining than wwe at the moment. i just hope that they can sustain this momentum.

mike adamle 11-16-2009 03:27 AM

I'm checking out the ppv tomorrow, heard good things though, so I'm looking forward to it.

DaVe 11-16-2009 03:33 AM

taker707 what are you on about? when did i knock tna? im just telling you jr and others called hbk/taker the match of the decade and the best mania match ever and you think it was eclipsed by a random match which i find amusing. that's it.

Unlike every other forumer here I didn't insult you or tell you to shut up. I'd say I'm being pretty reasonable.

taker707 11-16-2009 04:05 AM

what i was trying to say to you Dave is just to watch styles, joe, daniels 2 . it might suprise you. im allowed to give my opion and i personally feel it was better then HBK/Taker

The Mackem 11-16-2009 07:02 AM

Anyone have the results or a link to the results?

The Mackem 11-16-2009 09:29 AM

cheers Juan. Reading the results makes it seem like a decent event to watch. Might see if I can catch this somewhere. Two main matches seem to be highly rated.

Dave Youell 11-16-2009 11:36 AM

I will watch this on Wednesday and give you a review

Lack of MCMG's title wins is a worry though

kareru 11-17-2009 12:03 AM

aj/daniels/joe was fucking awesome as was angle/mcgu.. erm i mean wolfe

great ppv

he;; even the lashley/ steiner match was entertaining

redoneja 11-17-2009 01:31 PM

Wolfe/Angle was the match of the night, IMO. The Triple Threat was good, don't get me wrong, but I think Wolfe/Angle was immense, especially the finish. They properly used sold a side triangle as a move that garners an instant tap out, which it does in legit competition.

Kane Knight 11-17-2009 01:40 PM

MotY for sure.

kareru 11-17-2009 01:54 PM

some of the spots in the 3 way were just crazy

that monkey flip into a powerbomb into daniels made me jump out of my seat

wolfe and angle put on a real wrestling showcase and the crowd chanted ' this is wrestling clap clap clapclapclap' which made me smile

and the 'Lacey Von Botch' sign made me laugh the fact that tazz pointed it out made it even funnier
