LOL So i guess the Hulkamania press conference got bloody

THE Hulkamania promotional press conference at Star City veered violently out of control today as Hulk Hogan and ring rival Ric Flair let their animosity break into a full scale bloody brawl.

Sydney Central’s photographer Phil Rogers has his flash broken when Ric Flair threw a table off the stage and into the press gathering before diving on photographers.

Media were stunned as the Hulk’s head began bleeding profusely and confusion broke out when the veteran wrestling star was unable to get to his feet.

This reporter narrowly missed being struck with the table and photographers ducked and weaved as Ric Flair took off his trouser belt and began to whip anyone within range.

The press conference began well with the stars of the tour speaking professionally about their careers and the business.

Hulk Hogan was excited to be touring Australia for the first time.

The Hulkamania tour hits Sydney’s Acer Arena on November 28.

The wrestling extravaganza comes to WA on Tuesday, November 24, at Burswood Dome, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets from Ticketek 132 849 or http://www.ticketek.com.au

It's all the same. Still love that Flair went nuts. I hope that it was a work and someone has actual footage of it

Dirtiest Player in the Game is now back in the Game it would seem

Funny how Hogan is out doing this Australia tour and its been 3 weeks since the TNA press conference with him and Dixie Carter announcing that he has signed with them and they keep talking about it, yet there has been no real personalized or taped message to TNA fans from Hulk.....typical Terry Bollea if you ask me....he's out to collect a paycheck in the wake of a failed divorce and the mediocrity his son's jail stunt brought down on him.

BILLO 11-18-2009 04:42 AM

flair was giving hogan shit about hogans girl hahaha

DaVe 11-18-2009 05:21 AM

Yeah, was on the news today on one of the 4 major networks here in Aus. Didn't look that bad (the staged fight I mean), though of course the reporter buried it by saying 'Hogan ended up with what appeared to be tomato sauce all over him'.

I think they're gonna show each Hulkamania events on our #1 sports channel.

"Lucky" you.

Phenomenal 1 11-18-2009 10:33 AM

At least Knobbs is freakin hilarious when he's drunk and they filmed him on Hogan Knows Best

Sixx 11-18-2009 10:37 AM

Yup, I loved that episode. It was like a bad sitcom episode with an obnoxious relative visiting and the wife threatening to move out with kids if the man doesn't get rid of their guest.

Steveviscious89 11-18-2009 11:18 AM

Gimmickinfringed.....you have a valid point about there being no message from Terry regarding what he's going to do with TNA. The one thing I would keep in mind though is that he stressed in interviews that he was easing into it. He's also said a lot about how there isn't enough build up to things in wrestling anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if your reaction is exactly what he and his partners are looking for from some of the fans; make them wonder when in the heck he's gonna show up for awhile and then get into it.

Schlomey 11-18-2009 11:21 AM

It's on TMZ as well. Great bloody pix there. I can't wait to see/read reviews of this tour in Australia. I hope to god they film it.

Fabien Barthez 11-18-2009 11:22 AM

It's on Youtube in parts. terribly worked, I must say.

Schlomey 11-18-2009 11:27 AM

So it's already started? sweet. Thanks.

Fabien Barthez 11-18-2009 11:28 AM

Has Flair really come out of retirement to do shite promo's and job to Hogan 4 times in a week in probably the weakest english speaking wrestling market?

Yes. I do.

More specifically the holier than thou "You're retarded if you watch this because it's fake" arguments that say nothing other than that.

Fabien Barthez 11-18-2009 03:46 PM

I wouldn't get too pent up about a guy that 'reports' on celebrity 'news' and then calls wrestling fake.

TMZ.com has picked up on the Australian media’s coverage of the attack, asking readers whether the blood coming from Hulk Hogan’s head was real. So far, over 70% say the blood was fake.

Yes, because TMZ readers are qualified for this sort of thing.

Fabien Barthez 11-19-2009 01:53 PM

If you regularly view and participate in TMZ, you have probably suspended your disbelief indeffinately. They were all probably pre-occupied with where the emphatic scene-ending music was.
