What true managers are in WWE right now?

I seriously can't think of any. By "true" I mean full time managers, not just wrestlers accompanying other wrestlers.

Khali's manager (Ranjin Singh) is all I can think of.

Makes me miss the old days of Mr. Fuji and Bobby the Brain. :(

with Great Khali on the shelf right now and with Ranjin Singh out with him in Kayfabe.....the only active managers in WWE right now are Natalya with the Hart Dynasty, Rosa Mendez with Zach Ryder, and Katie Lea with Paul Burchill.....thats if you even count them.

Might be wrong but I think the last time there was a true manager was when Umaga was managed by Armando Alejandro Estrada. This is before Estrada became a wrestler after they split.

He was an indy wrestler before coming to WWE, not sure if that makes him less of a true manager, just saying.

Think about a LOT of the big names among previous generations of managers: Mr. Fuji: retired wrestler. Capt. Lou: retired wrestler. Paul Bearer: retired wrestler. Freddie Blassie: retired wrestler. J.J. Dillon: retired wrestler. Paul Ellering: retired wrestler. Sheri Martel: retired wrestler.

My point? What good talkers among the wrestlers of the last 15 years or so have actually hung up the boots for good and are still alive? IMHO, the next great "manager" more than likely won't be until Chris Jericho decides his body can't take it any more. And even then, will Chris even WANT to stick around the scene or will he want to spend his time doing other pursuits?

I'd love to know the point in time where the WWF/WWE decided that managers were not needed (unnecessary expense?).

I fucking hate divas/valets.

I want a manager that knows how to talk and can get his wrestler over. Also someone that can work the crowd. In other words, I want another Bobby Heenan! I know no one will never get near what Bobby done, but another good male manager - maybe with their own faction (heenan family)

Well they pretty much went away in the Attitude Era. Everyone was speaking for themselves. Also, everyone who had someone was in a stable and anyone who could be considered a manager, outside of Paul Bearer and Kai-En-Tai's manager, also wrestled.

Well we use to have Alejandro Strada with Umaga.
I never really cared much for managers to be honest. I liked Paul Bearer but mostly because it was comical. The only manager I ever felt really amplified the persona of a wrestler was Alfonso with RVD. Not saying that there weren't any other great ones in the past, but I am only mentioning the ones I have seen come across from the time I started watching wrestling and I caught an interest on.

JBL needs to come back as a manager.

Valets only work if the chick is an over-the-top heel.

God, I miss stables.
