I was playing Worms 3D yesterday at work. It was great... I had my doubts at first because I loved the 2D games and didnt think it would be as fun in 3D. Now I have to find a copy for Gamecube.

I still like Gunbound better than Worms. Worms just had too many 'good weapons' that didn't require much skill, like the Airstrike and what-have-you
Of course, that doesn't mean the game wasn't insanely fun. Just Gunbound is a bit more competitive for me :rant: |
yeah.. but i used to love swinging with the ninja rope and planting mines next to a worm then hightailing it :cool:

The Ninja Rope is hellishy hard to use properly in Worms 3D. And stuff like the jetpack makes it kind of easy to get cheapo kills with the baseball bat, fire punch and the like...

or you do that thing how you choose where every worm goes then put them next to a fuel drum then get the first worm to throw a holy hand-grenade next to the fuel drum.

The only thing I hate about Worms 3D is the lack of solid boards... I hate all the levels being made up of mini islands.....
BTW, "Melted Cheese" is an awesome board. |

I used to love playing Worms 2 online against a mate, but since we bothe have DirectX 9, it doesn't work anymore. :mad:
