Good Actors In Bad Movies
 

A growing trend in an economic downturn is good actors taking on sketchy projects for a payday. Who are some good actors/actresses who have great careers that you can question some of their selections....?




My number 1 is Cuba Gooding Jr.
He was awesome in Radio & Jerry McGuire......Then wtf happened from there I'll never know.

Jack Nicholson for doing Mars Attacks after all the good movies he did comes to mind.

I loved Mars Attacks :(


Understandable choice in reality.


Jason Stratham in Dungeon Seige Tale: In The Name of the King;.....shit not just Jason, all the mid-level actors in that film.

Mars Attacks was okay. It was like a modern B-movie answer to Independence Day. Still, with the star power that movie had and the look of the aliens I don't think it delivered.

So Cuba and Eddie Murphy are on my list of "what the fuck were they thinking"

Jason Statham isn't really a 'good' actor though. Like, he is pretty much always typecast and he plays roughly the same character in most of his movies. They all have the same personality, etc..

I mean, he isn't a horrible actor.. Like I wouldn't not see a movie just because he was in it, but his movies aren't really amazing or very versatile.

Yeah you are correct. That was more a swipe at how awful that movie was...Nobody attached is considered A list actors. so yeah, I agree, I must have been venting.

Since someone mentioned a Uwe Boll movie I have to add Ben Kingsley to this list obviously for Bloodrayne and I haven't even seen all of it to know it's garbage.

Uwe Boll has directed 4 of the top 10 worst movies based on video games as read on Yahoo.

Just a tidbit from a few weeks ago I read and thought was funny.

Ben Affleck in Gigli. Oh wait, you said good actors.

i was just thinking about that movie today. Haven't seen it since it was in theatres...another film I want to rewatch to see just how bad it really is :P

Bill Murray in the Garfield movies.

At least he regrets doing them.

Steve Carrell in Evan Almighty

Will Ferrell in Bewitched comes to mind.

So does Willem Dafoe in Boondock Saints.

Hulk Hogan in like all.

He's a great actor, just needs a Shawshank Redemption kind of role.

Pretty much everything De Niro has done this decade.

Meet the Parents was ok. Other than that, yikes.

Pacino's only had 1 good movie this decade too.

It was suppose to be a comedy. It wasn't even a "so terrible it's funny" type of movie.

Envy was a worse than a train wreck inside an abortion clinic.
