HBK vs HBM
 

Shawn Michaels was one of the best heel's ever when he turned at SummerSlam '97 and up until he 'retired' the following March. Its surely because he was an asshole backstage so just had to exaggerate a bit on TV but he was hilarious and did a superb job. Anyway with the rumours of a DX split and the possibility Shawn might turn instead of HHH, what kind of heel would he play and how do you think it would work out? Now thats he's in love with God (and hairplugs) he can never play the 1997 type of heel again so i think it would suck hard. The End

2) I highly doubt HBK will be turning heel at this stage in his career. If HBK and Triple H are destined for a showdown at Wrestlemania, it will be as two friends....face vs. face. DX might split in the near future, but it will be on amicable terms (as it was back in 06).

He could become insanely preachy... Not give the fans what they want, etc. Personally, I'd love to see him become the "mentor" of CM Punk... Build Punk up at the superstar he never was, because he let drugs, sex, and alcohol shorten his time at the top in the prime of his life.

Of course, he'd ultimately turn face for the inevitable Punk vs HBM feud.

I agree with Heyman, HBK or HHH as a heel doesn't make much sense at the minute BUT if he did i don't think preachy would be the way to go. Asking someone to use their faith as a reason to get people to hate them would just be uncomfortable. Full on cowardly would work, just make him a total pussy, take away his 'heart' (and never let him do a kip up) and the fans would turn on him.

I challenge TPWW to not mention CM Punk in a thread, just once. Does everything have to come back to him??

I would love for them to have HBM give the rub to punk (oooooh double entendre) but I really don't think the WWE is cool, original or smart enough to do that.

Shawn's last two Wrestlemania matches were face vs. face, and they were both fantastic. I don't see why some people think face vs. face wouldn't work. Maybe they could even go a step further and have HBK's career be on the line against HHH.

If I were going to turn HBK heel, I would have it be a long-calculated plan by Michaels. Not a spur of the moment thing. HBK can bring up how Triple H used him to get to the top, and how in 2002 he threw Michaels through a car window from behind, and hit his back -- which kept him out of the ring for four years -- with a sledgehammer.

It's just long-coming revenge against Triple H, as Michaels denounces DX, talks about how every night for the past eight years he has cursed Triple H's name every night before he goes to sleep. HBK can talk about how Ric Flair gets credit for being Triple H's "mentor," when if it wasn't for Shawn Michaels, Triple H wouldn't have gotten to where he was. He can start calling himself "The Game Maker," or the like.

This thread would have been good if it was a discussion on who is better. The pre-back injury HBK or the post-return-from-said-injury HBM.
