misheard lyrics game

I think this would be a fun and creative game, here is how it works, basically you post skewed song lyrics and we try to guess what song you are parodizing. Follow with the artist, because otherwise it'd be nearly impossible.

for instance

he's got some old pearls in his pants- traditional

which is obviously he's got the whole world in his hands

Now you don't have to figure out exactly which line it is, just what song.

another example

It's not warm enough for a sweater but it's still to cool for air- don't even know the artist

which is
I'm old enough to know better but still too young to care

ok now for the first one

Sufjan stevens song

In the morning, when you take a piss
and your mom walks in and says look at this
you left some on the seat

what song did i parodize?

rep for the right answer

i always thought "the finest day i ever had was when i learned to cry on command" in on a plain by nirvana said "cry like a man"

despite the fact cry like a man makes not much sense. but i like it because it doesn't so i've stolen my own misheard lyrics for use in some future song of mine.

Sixx 12-16-2009 03:11 PM
