Punk's Straight-Edge Stable
I keep coming back to this issue and I think it's worth talking about.
CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Luke Gallows team up to face Morrison, R-Truth and Hardy on Smackdown. I don't know enough about Drew's character but, I know that at first glance this looks like a good alliance. I still want to see CM Punk and Bryan Danielson in a Straight-Edge tag team but, I think a 4-man stable would be a dynamic addition to future shows.. |

R-Truth and Matt Hardy VS. DX VS. Straight Edge VS. Edge and Christian would work as a TLC match if we didn't just have a fucking PPV called "TLC".
The WWE's potential for an amazing tag division is actually very strong. Edge is going to come back as a face, what better way than to team him up with his brother Christian? The Hart Foundation's members are both miles away from singles gold, put 'em in contention for the tag titles and you're going somewhere. R-Truth and Matt Hardy don't fit together personality-wise but, they make a decent tag team (at least til Jeff returns in 2012). Now that Jerishow's over and big wobbly monsters like Khali are after him, I think a new muscly bouncer-type could be in need of a partner. That's right, Jeritista! And who better to feud with them than Mysterikane! The only thing that could make this better for me is if Miz and Morrison made up with eachother and joined for another run as the Tag Team Champions. |

How boring that this is constantly talked about, i hope for the thread's sake that CM Punk turns face and drinks lots and lots of beer and smokes a massive spliff to start smackdown putting it out on his straight edge tattoos

To be honest, the only thing I want in Punk's "stable" is a wrestler with some actual name value to make Punk look superior and influencial to someone the fans can relate with, rather than a repackaged jobber.
Matt Hardy could have been perfect after his brother's arrest in an attempt to be the complete opposite of Jeff. As for Danielson though, I just don't wanna see it happen. Let him show his strengths on ECW or SD! as a pure wrestler and let him showoff for 10-12 minutes a night and gain a fanbase that way. If he were to join Punk's stable, he would just be another guy to the audience. |

For some reason I could see The Hart Dynasty joining this stable.
|
Why? They're completely seperate. No need.
|
It's not as if tag teams haven't joined a stable before ie NAO into DX.

I dunno it is pretty annoying that people keep talking and fantasizing about this.

I'm surprised no one has yet to mention a plausible possibility in bringing back Eugene as Nick Dinsmore, similar to how Festus was repackaged. Punk can claim Eugene had ADHD or something to that effect, and his parents, being neglectful and uniterested in caring for their child, hopped him up on some sort of downer, which led Eugene to harder drugs that reduced his mind to a child-like state.
Punk can say he found Eugene, saw his potential buried in a heaping pile of mind-numbing drugs, got him clean, and brought him back so that Nick Dinsmore can realize his potential as a great in tring talent. |
that would be a good idea
but last time I saw Eugene was on tv he looked really out of shape if I remember right |
