Bret Hart signs with WWE

According to a WWE source who would have full knowledge of the situation, Bret Hart has indeed signed a short-term talent contract with World Wrestling Entertainment,

The WWE Hall of Famer signed the this past week and it will cover the period from 1/1 to 4/10, or through WrestleMania and about two weeks after the 3/28 show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Hart simply told a reliable source that he wasn’t going to lie about anything and thus wasn’t going to comment on this story.

It was said that Hart wanted his signing to be kept quiet and his return to be a surprise, but that WWE couldn’t help itself but all but announced it publicly on the first RAW after the ink was dry.

The MAC should be very happy.

Yeah, that comment makes more sense now. To me it ALMOST seemed like Miller pulled it out of his ass and Vince tried to save it on the spot, but Vince is clearly going to be heeling Bret.

Nah, they shouldn't blow Rock on something like that. If they're going to use Rock, he has to either be the week before or the RAW after Mania, unless TNA does another Monday impact between 1/4 and then.

I'm very happy to hear this news but I have a feeling he will be relegated to SD after his guest host appearance on RAW but that'd be fine by me.

Hart guest hosting/ Hall of Fame induction (which I would instantly buy a ticket for, BTW)/ Hart/Michaels WM26 = Epic Win

I posted in the Wrestlemania 26 thread a couple days ago about how I suspected the WWE would be pulling out all the stops for this years Mania, even more so than usual, due to stiff competition from a UFC PPV the night before and the Pacquiao/Mayweather two weeks after. This seems to be an early indication of just that. Not gonna get my hopes up too high though, I just want to see where this goes.
