Wow. If I were Johnny the Bull (Spoilers)

I think I'd be hanging myself right now...

Seriously, he jobbed clean to SPIKE. Do we need any more proof his career is OVER?

Yeah, it wouldn't have been so bad back in the ECW days when they actually gave Spike some credibility. But as it stands, Spike is probably buried the deepest in the WWE right now... Man, for him to get a clean win over the Bull is the closest conformation that were gonna have that Johnny isn't gonna be around much longer...

CBright7831 04-10-2004 06:17 PM

Good.

I'm glad Spike finally got a win.

He deserves it.

And that's just it. Spike's been booked as such a joke that anyone who loses that bad to Spike Dudley has had it. It'd be one thing if the guy had some credibility left as a competitor...

And the whole angle where Heyman was pissed off when he drafted him doesn't help poor Spike either...

Savio 04-10-2004 06:30 PM

Lets just forget about this :(

Mr. JL 04-10-2004 08:56 PM

Yeah, I was very surprized and pleased that Spike got the pin.

Well, wins aren't the most important thing. BUT since Spike has pretty much lost every match he's been in..... you can see why it makes Stamboli look like the biggest chumpstain jobber around.

Savio 04-10-2004 09:01 PM

Maybe they'll unburry spike.

I've gotta admit, I've really felt sorry for LSD...I mean, he's got to be the biggest jobber in the WWE roster...Maybe Savior's right, and this will be the beginning of some comeback push for the underdog that Spike's become.

Or it could just be a fluke, Spike's career goes nowhere, and Stamboli's career joins him, since no-one'll take a loss to spike seriously.

Fryza 04-10-2004 09:17 PM

I don't see anything wrong with this, if they plan to make Spike a big name. However, they won't do that, so it kills Johnny's credibility.

The thing is, you've touched on my answer to your first sentence with your second sentence.

The idea of Spike actually getting a push is laughable. This is the WWE. I'm still pinching myself that someone under 900 lbs has the title on Smackdown, and that someone not named "Hunter" has the title on Raw...

There'll never be a WWE champ under 4 feet, tho, so Spike's screwed there. ;)

KingofOldSchool 04-10-2004 11:11 PM

Spike should be in the same position as Terri Runnels...on his back and unemployed.

I wasn't aware that Johnny the Bull ever had any credibility.

John la Rock 04-11-2004 01:14 AM

couldn't care less about Spike or Johnny the Bull. They both suck

Boondock Saint 04-11-2004 04:38 AM

Spike DID win the tag titles with Tazz...

And the European Championship. :shifty:

El Santo 04-11-2004 06:06 AM

I don't think Johnny Stamboli's credibility took a bit hit. I mean, it was already at zero. :)

Hired Hitman 04-11-2004 11:49 AM

 Johnny has a great look, he just needs a good gimmick.. with airtime :$ the mafia gimmick suits him.. but i'm a Stamboli fan, so :$
