has anyone watched this yet? looks pretty fucked up. kind of like "why would you even want to make this movie you sick fucks, what is wrong with you?"

Like many films, they created this one because it was a highly successful book. My hypothesis is that the goal is to replicate that success in movie theaters worldwide.

I was planning on seeing it in February of next year. I will come back then and give you my personal review.

I thought the book got a bit silly at times. Interesting idea. I imagine the film won't be any less silly.

I agree with you on liking the approach. I don't remember that much about it as I read it several years ago, but I remember feeling that it felt a bit padded in places. The beginning was good and the end was good, but it did drag in the middle.

There was one part in particular that was just absolutely shit:



It really hurt the entire story for me as it was completely unnecessary.

Wow. Don't remember that at all.

It's pretty much the main thing I remember from the book since I was incredulous the author thought it was a good idea.
