I like Michael Cera's schtick. I'll be seeing this. I typically don't pay money at the theaters for movies that aren't full of action or explosions but I dunno...This one looks pretty fucking good.

i have a feeling that it won't live up to the book since there is SO much to fit in, but i'll probably enjoy it anyway because the cast looks really good. hope that the double nick/francois character plays out well.

I want a Jesse Eisenberg & Michael Cera duo comedy. That would be akward to watch for sure since they both basicallly are the same person

I didn't know this was a book until post #2. Was the character as Michael Cera-ish as the movie, or is the movie totally different? Or a little or both?

i don't picture the character being anything like michael cera usually acts, but we'll see.

I like Cera and the movie looks like it might be ok. However, the kid's 21 years old and has already been typecast the rest of his life.

i wonder if he is that akward in real life. If so it's not so much of a typecasting issue then more of a bad actor thing.

I don't think so. I've seen him on quite a few talk shows and while he's not Tom Cruise jumping on a couch or Robin Williams dancing around like an idoit he seems like a relatively normal person. Maybe a little quiet but not the socially awkward characters he plays.

He seems shy, quiet and withdrawn. Probably a nice guy at heart but I bet if you met him you would think he was a huge asshole. Everyone wants him to do his "Superbad" awkward type thing and he just wants some privacy.

I am so incredibly sick of Michael Cera. As soon as a commercial for one of his movies comes on, the channel is automatically changed.

saw this a and watchd the bootleg three times. its like juno meets superbad dand its all win worth watching
