Raw Guest Host Ending !!!!!!

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– WWE officials have begun giving thought to the idea of ending the guest hosting storyline on Monday Night RAW with the idea being to use a big name as the full-time General Manager of the brand. Bret Hart is rumored.

Xero 01-08-2010 01:47 PM

I believe it.

Anybody Thrilla 01-08-2010 01:57 PM

I doubt it's Bret Hart, but thank goodness.

Londoner 01-08-2010 01:57 PM

Would be cool.

XCaliber 01-08-2010 01:59 PM

It'd be nice to have Bret on RAW on a regular basis but I just can't envisioning it happening but SD that is a different story besides that's the show The Hart Dynasty is on afterall at least for now.

Londoner 01-08-2010 02:03 PM

They could always draft hart dynasty to raw, which i think is whats being planned.

ClockShot 01-08-2010 02:05 PM

Way overdue. Granted there were some hosts that knew how to run the show.

Really don't know who to put in a GM role at the moment.

Could very well happen but by the time they due most of his contract will be up by then unless the decide to extend it. I'm pretty sure what will end up happening is that there will be another Hart Dynasty vs DX match and they will finally take the gold so they can appear on both shows. Bret's role would of course be as a manager as I can see Vince allowing him to be in charge after what happened last week.

finally

What Would Kevin Do? 01-08-2010 02:22 PM

They better not end it before the gang from Sunny can host.

I wasn't taking at shot at you, WWKD, just at the train-wreck-esque way they've managed this whole deal.

Schlomey 01-08-2010 04:17 PM

Poor Bella Twins will be out of a job if this is true. Sad sad day.

Rammsteinmad 01-08-2010 04:24 PM

There truly is a God. :D

Not that I doubted it to begin with... just saying... :shifty:

parkmania 01-08-2010 05:00 PM

Move Teddy over to Raw so that Vince can "keep a better eye on him", and let Bret GM Smackdown.

Seconded.

Splaya 01-08-2010 05:23 PM

They can always have Bischoff be the GM, ya know since WWE owns TNA anyways

NoRoolz 01-08-2010 05:58 PM

Maybe I'll watch RAW again...

Dorkchop 01-08-2010 06:15 PM

I wouldn't mind if WWE did guest hosts every now and then, but every week is pretty ridiculous. Most of the people don't even know what's going on. The Nascar guys were the worst.

NoRoolz 01-08-2010 06:20 PM

^ Yeah. Every week is crazy. Focusing the wrestling show on one random celebrity is ridiculous. If TNA were to do something like that, the abuse it'd get on here would be unspeakable.

Johnny Vegas 01-08-2010 07:11 PM

Bob Barker

Fox 01-08-2010 07:24 PM

About fucking time. I thought it was a decent idea when it got started, but it has seriously gone on for way too long. Most of the guest hosts don't even do shit when they show up except cut a promo or do an opening skit with DX, Legacy or Cena, and then they don't do crap for the rest of the show. Isn't a guest host supposed to have power? Maybe book matches or the show or something?

Like I said, it's about fucking time. This is the WWE, not Saturday Night Live "for Christ's sake" [/Jared Leto].

Ditto.

Also, isn't Bret's contract only a four month contract?

If so, then it's definitely not him.

RatedGSuperstar 01-08-2010 07:37 PM

Here's to hoping the end this angle with Tyson going crazy on everyone, and Vince deciding he can't have his superstars' wellbeing jeopardized. I'd pay to see Tyson bite off a few ears and knock John Cena out.

Droford 01-08-2010 09:04 PM

SPOILER: show
Cena is the new GM

It'll be like when Flair was WCW President, or whatever.

TNA only got a 1.5 on Monday because he wasn't there.

jimmy012345 01-08-2010 09:05 PM

let bret be gm for now
