Quote:

Jeremy Borash said this morning during an appearance on the Pain Clinic radio show that TNA is expected to debut a big-name wrestler at the Genesis pay-per-view, which takes place on Jan. 17. He indicated it would be a “big surprise.”

Jimmy Hart.

Xero 01-09-2010 03:48 PM

Jumpers are very unlikely because of no-compete clauses.

thats what i mean jeff jarrett was on a wwf ppv on the sunday, appeared on wcw nitro on the monday but didn't compete in an actual match for a few months.

Xero 01-09-2010 03:52 PM

Jarrett was a very special case, he worked that PPV without a contract because his contract was up. Wrestling has nothing to do with it, you can't appear if you're on no-compete.

That said, if the contract's up, they can go. But I doubt anyone of worth is coming up, otherwise we would have heard.

Londoner 01-09-2010 03:52 PM

Seriously though it very well could be RVD.
