fucking blowing my mind with this. my tastes have softened somewhat in my comparatively old age to when i was like 15-18, but i do not hide from my post-hardcore/screamo/hardcore interests during my adolescence. but i honestly don't recall listening to anything as tremendously unimaginative and chained to the balls of genre stereotypes as this cover. uniformly ludicrous haircuts: check. over-the-top screamed/boy-band-clean alternating vocals: check. jumping sequence: check. dirty power-chord driven guitar lines: check. chug breakdown: check. it's like they read a fucking book, or wikipedia, or something.

dunno. terrible. fuck you, confide.

This is a fucking massacre. The vocals make me want to stab the singer in the throat. Plus they all look like unatractive chicks.

I think it may have actually been linked in an MSN convo, since I've definitely seen it before as well.

That doesn't make it any less awful though. Nice to see they coordinated their hairstyles.

If I can get a hold of my band's cover of "The Red" I'll compete with that Confide video. Though I seriously laughed when the breakdown chugs started. Too bad a part of me loved it since I work at UPS.

Whatever this genre is called is the worst thing to happen to music.

I DID see them at warped and they thankfully did not use auto tune live but that two stepping during the techno part is a huge blow to the hardcore industry.
