LOL @ Cena. (yes, more Cena bashing)

That was absolutely great when Cena got the Cena sucks chant and then everyone starting cheering for Orton as a heel. LOLOL

Londoner 01-12-2010 12:59 AM

Um, have you only just started watching or something?

Rock Bottom 01-12-2010 01:02 AM

yes

Juan 01-12-2010 01:09 AM

Cena has been getting "Cena Sucks" chants since 2005

DAMN iNATOR 01-12-2010 01:10 AM

Cena looked ridiculous telling Kofi not to pay any attention to the chant. "I never do", said Cena. Yeah, right.

Rock Bottom 01-12-2010 01:11 AM

If he's been getting those chants why do they still have him around in main events? Are there that many marks out there for him?

Basically. If people didn't buy his merchandise and the little kids and women didn't go crazy for him, he wouldn't be in the spot he's in.

Lock Jaw 01-12-2010 01:22 AM

If Cena ever goes heel, he has the possibility to be on the level of Hollywood Hogan's heel heat when he first turned heel.

Damian Rey 01-12-2010 01:54 AM

Cena's merch sales are astronomical. Kids love him.

RGWhat316 01-12-2010 02:41 AM

I thought it was funny to hear him say he never pays attention. Nah, that only happens like EVERY WEEK! He always looks for the people's support and always listens to what they chant.

But on a side note, it was fun to actually listen to a crowd be vocal, which is something I havent heard in a while.

It seems like Orton has been getting a lot of cheers lately. Last week, when he gave Kofi the RKO, he got A LOT of cheers. Today was pretty funny though.

I don't think so...... the crowds are so dead during Raw's nowadays thatit wouldn't come across great on TV...... lots of 6 year olds will be mad at home, but I don't think it would be represented fairly on TV

What done it for me last night was the Mike Tyson/ Hornswaggle segement.

Ripping out intestines, sticking fingers to the nose and into your brain was GOLDEN.

PG my arse. I was in fucking stitches.

Mike Tyson is a 5 star mentalist.

Or...just shows that people are sick of him being in the spot light.

The match that Cena and Orton had where the fan ran in to stop the ref when Orton was in the STFU and the look on Cena's face was priceless. Cena was like WTF, do they really want me to lose this badly. God, that was a classic moment.

That's reserved specifically for the 5-Knuckle Shuffle 'You Can't See Me!' taunt.

I wouldn't even mind him in the spotlight if he did something worth spotlighting.

I love how Vince is stubborn enough to turn Steve fuckin Austin heel and pretty much start the decline of popularity of the company but he doesn't have the balls to turn Cena heel.... who the fans actually WANT to boo. Oh well, everyone knows he's out of touch and is just a brilliant businessman nowadays... not a good wrestling guy anymore.

Sorry, but how hard is it to slap your logo on a range of stationary, drinks bottles and other standard merch. Then sign a new TV deal every 12 month months? He does very little actual difficult work, he just tells his assistant what to do and it gets done or people get fired.

He's needed for big meetings to get deals done, other than that he's a travelling showman. Not that he hasnt earnt it, but he is now an average businessman doing all the standard stuff you do when your company is that big. Theres nothing new or innovative at all, unless you count the new Mattel range.

You gotta be a good business man to be the only real game in town and run a multi hundred million dollar (if not billion) dollar corporation. He's prolly made bad moves along the way but he's a hard working motherfucker and he's a solid business man.

Specious reasoning to measure his competence by his success. Esoecially given the number of other hands in the pot and the fact that he is the only game in town and can therefore throw money at things.

Ol Dirty Dastard 01-15-2010 12:30 AM

Yeah but there's a reason he's the only game in town. And it's not due to bad business.
