Gold Gloves
This may be a little early, but if Doug Mientkiewicz doesn't win it again then the system is seriously ****ed up. Could make a case for Koskie too.

I dunno, Darin Erstad is definately a great defensive player and that should make him a good candidate at first base this year

lol, LeCroy should get a Gold Glove in the DH position, that'd be quality.
Anyway, the reason I made this topic is because if you watch a Twins game (and I'm sure none of you do, especially since they only have one game on a week for Minnesotans) you see how bad the throws that come to Mientkiewicz are, like throw Giambi or some random 1st baseman in there, and there would probably be an overthrow per game. It's just rediculous how bad some of the throws to first are. The reason I mentioned Koskie is because he made a really good play in that game too. I hope that clears some things up, this topic was really just made in the heat of a moment. |
