So he was just a solo artist? I thought he may have been part of a group I had heard of or something. Not really interested in looking too far into it outside of this thread.

It wasn't just pitchfork. He was starting to become a bit of a critics darling. Spin, NME, etc all rated his last album.

He was alright as a musician. Sucks that he died though.
