I love how WWE desperately wants to be PG-13, yet they constantly have people guest host Raw who the 13 year old demographic have no idea who they are....... I mean how many 13 year olds watch Jerry Springer? listen to Snoop Dogg, Ozzy Osbourne or ZZ Top? or know who Al Sharpton is?

To be fair, how many people in general listen to ZZ Top these days?

I'm pretty sure most of Snoop and Ozzy's following is prepubescent kids.

And the ones who were prepubescent when they first dropped, and haven't quite moved on from that phase of their lives.

Well unless its someone who can work well, the guest hosts are just into a live in-ring gig and a taped segment courtesy santino/bella twins. So I wouldn't be very excited about these next few guys.

The question is: 24 or Raw?

William Shatner? I am sooo there!

And WTF is the connection with "the kiddies" and Shatner???

And we still got a few open weeks to fill in. Anybody know when creative planned on ending the guest host? I know somebody posted a thread about it a few weeks ago.

I've been hearing around Mania, so we'll see.

I like Springer, so I think he should be a decent host. But looking at the live events schedule, Springer is going to be scheduled in Iowa. I think one of the main bizarre things with this guest hosting, is the places they are scheduled. With only a few exceptions like Trish in Toronto, Mayweather in LV, and maybe a few others, these guests hosts are scheduled in off the wall areas where they wont get as much of a reaction. Even Austin is scheduled in San Diego.

apparently not owen...maybe we'll get lucky and the first RAW after Mania will be the end of guest hosts or we'll end up with Spongebob Squarepants hosting that night.

I attended a taping of the Jerry Springer Show this morning in Stamford, CT. Before the taping, Jerry asked if there were any questions from the audience.

I ended up asking him "Why did you want to guest-host Monday Night Raw? He pondered for a second, but then said "Because they asked."

What was funny is that he didn't know the date of Raw he was hosting and he seemed confused. Someone on his security team had to tell him it was February 15th.

He then said, "I do stupid things!" and I wished him Good Luck!

Shatner should emerge in complete darkness.

Like the arena would go pitch black and then suddenly you'd hear "There's.... something.... in the ring. Some..... THING....." and then the lights turn back on and he'd be all like "IT'S ME! WILLIAM SHATNER!"

Is Austin confirmed?

I'll help you out - they're the stars of the show "Psych" which is also on USA Network. It's a comedy about a guy who has great observational skills who sets up a "psychic detective" office, helping the bumbling cops along the way.

Pretty good show, by the way.

By the way, why the hell are they teaming up Don Johnson with Jon Heder?

I fail to see.

Because they're starring in an upcoming movie, although Johnson said during Raw that they have no scenes together in the entire film.

What movie is that? Imdb doesn't say anything about this.
