who would you say are better fans?
not a poll, but just you guys opinion? who would you say has the better fans? wwe or tna?
|
TNA. At least they're passionate, even if they're passionate about stupid shit.
|
WWE no doubt. Even in an arena full of 10,000 dead fans, they still have 5,000 good ones, which is more than TNA can even draw period.

The good WWE fans might be overshadowed by the rest of the dead crowd, but they're still out there.
And besides, most TNA fans are just anti-WWE. Give them something else and they'd jump ship in a heartbeat. |
I believe that indy fans (and smarks as a whole) are better than WWE fans overall. Whether they're anti-WWE is moot, they have a passion unmatched to WWE fans.
|
WWE fans spend more money and they have more blind loyalist marks than TNA does. it`s just that since tna`s audience is smaller their few (fewwwww) loyal marks stand out more.

WWE has just as many hardcore fans as TNA it's just that TNA stands out because they only have like 500 people at their shows. Take a look at WrestleMania -- look how far people travel for the show. How many people would do that for Bound for Glory? |

and this was just genesis |
what an interesting concept. better fans.
jesus christ |
TNA has better fans, but not very long at the rate they are being treated. Its like the old ECW, and better yet, the Apple Mac fans!

Seriously though, at least the idiots at the Impact Zone care about what they're watching. |

also there was a couple back in the 90s and early 00s who literally went to every WWE show. You can see them in the front row of Summerslam 98 and I think WM 2000 and a shit ton of RAWs and Smackdowns. And who can forget sign guy. TNA has some good fans but... WWE UNIVERSE 4 LIFE |

no-one can beat the ecw fans also http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/n...n/jeffmark.jpg |
Good fans come from all over and go to all shows.
And what constitutes a "good" fan? Loud? Well, Japanese fans aren't loud but they're not bad. Knowledgeable? We're all knowledgeable but we can be pissy cunts sometimes. So before we determine who is the best fans... what is it that makes a good fan? |
Define "fan" if you will

1. Dedication (You watch the product often) 2. Knowledge (Don't be ignorant!) Then I guess interaction. Loudness has nothing to do with how good of a "supporter" you are and more to do with how "extroverted" or hammered drunk you are. When I go to WWE shows there are people way louder than me yet I post on an online wrestling forum and I highly doubt most of them do. |
By those guidelines, the japanese fans are well above anyone.
|
good fan? they spend money on the product. nothing else.

the internet has better fans

If the WWE fans are a universe, then TNA fans must be on a spec of space dust.
|
Americans, this will mean nothing to you.
WWE is like Man Utd and TNA is like Portsmouth. Man Utd's stadium, whilst completely filled with 70,000 people, is often deadly quiet and full of tourists etc, but they do have a great set of "proper" fans (see away days), far more than Portsmouth. Portsmouth's stadium holds few but there is an atmosphere, even if they do sing shit songs, Portsmouth home support would clearly be better in terms of atmosphere/percentage of people there truly caring. But the numbers clearly are in Utd's favour. Better Fans: WWE/Man United Better Atmosphere/Home Support: TNA/Portsmouth |
For the desired dynamic of a wrestling match to work (i.e. reactions to faces, reactions to heels), WWE has far and away better fans. TNA fans cheer everyone. WWE fans show you the clear divide between heel and face. That may be because they're mostly children, but they still give the desired reaction of a crowd.
|
Don't know, although TNA's recent stifling of certain words and gestures and whatnot certainly doesn't sound like any sort of wrestling organization I'd ever want to be called a "fan" of.
|
TNA doesn't have fans, it has "cast members". Period!

Who cares? They're all hypocrites and sycophants anyway!
:shifty: WWE has "better fans" by most definitions. Though things like loyalty are hard to define. TNA fans are either very loyal or very stupid. Sometimes, there's a fine line thurr. |
