Seriously

WHERE THE FUCK IS EDGE????

Okay, I know he fucked up his achilles, but seriously, that was quite a while ago. Anyone think they're saving him for that surprise Rumble entry? Goddamn I hope so, SINCE I'M GOING TO BE THERE SUNDAY!!!!

The Franchise 01-26-2010 03:42 PM

He had like the most serious injury you could possibly have. Rushing back from a torn Achilles tendon would be retarded.

Krimzon7 01-26-2010 03:54 PM

Sir, the recovery for a ruptured achilles tendon includes surgery, a boot with a foot in the neutral position, and a total rehab to include 4-6 months....This means that he could possibly be ready. I wouldn't want him rushing back, getting injured again etc.

Afterlife 01-26-2010 04:04 PM

Initially, they expected him to miss WrestleMania. If he's back at the Rumble, I will be surprised.

The Jayman 01-26-2010 04:06 PM

currently Edge is at home. watching.....waiting....

The Pope 01-26-2010 04:16 PM

He'll be at the Rumble trust me, now introducing the individual who drew number _ "you think you know me"

EDWARD 01-26-2010 04:51 PM

my two cents:

he show's up at the royal rumble, goes in just to eliminate edge, jericho's pissed, and for the next two months they build up the jericho-edge match at mania and edge still gets to rest during the build-up.

Sycophant 01-26-2010 04:59 PM

I am not going to rule out Edge for RR and I hope he is there because I too will be attending. However, I have been a RN for a while in orthopedics and I can tell you that a torn Achilles is very grueling to rehab from. The surgery itself is very complex...imagine sewing together teeth on a plastic comb. Many people in sports never play that sport again after this. I'm not saying this is the case, but the comeback is very difficult for this type of injury.

The Franchise 01-26-2010 05:11 PM

Yeah it's insane. Edge is really injury prone too so I'd be extra cautious.

Spoilers:

SPOILER: show
PWInsider reported a few weeks ago that Edge is fully healed and that he is either returning at the Rumble or the RAW after.

Innovator 01-26-2010 07:11 PM

4-6 month recovery time for a normal person, he has to get back into ring shape after that

With that said, Xero's post

jskinnyg 01-26-2010 07:28 PM

They have been saying for weeks now that Edge has healed really well but don't want to rush him... My two cents is similar to one post above but have Edge come in close to the very end, only to eliminate Jericho for taking his title with the Show after his injury...

This will start up the feud, keep fans happy to see his evil ass back at work, and they can jaw jack for a couple of months, continue to let Edge heal better and build up a match for WM... This would be BADASS...

Team Sheep 01-26-2010 07:33 PM

I'm pretty certain he's gonna return on Sunday. What's with the talk of him going to Raw though? Smackdown needs him, and that's where Jericho is. Him going to Raw would be so stupid.

Dorkchop 01-26-2010 09:20 PM

I hope Edge doesn't rush his recovery. I'd rather he come back 100 % (or the closest percentage he can get to) than return for Mania.

Triple Naitch 01-26-2010 10:04 PM

Getting a serious amount of 2 cents in this thread. Makes me miss Heyman.

The Pope 01-26-2010 10:33 PM

I bet you guys 2 cents that Edge returns at the Rumble

Juan 01-26-2010 10:36 PM

Will Bret Hart wrestle Vince at WrestleMania?

screech 01-26-2010 10:37 PM

If you bet two cents, he will.

Lock Jaw 01-26-2010 10:40 PM

Pfffft. I tear my Achilles Tendon all the time. I tore it this morning and I'm fine!

The Pope 01-26-2010 10:43 PM

Storer50 01-26-2010 10:56 PM

I'm buying the Rumble just to see it if Edge comes back. He is the hardest working wrestler I have ever seen.

Loved that promo.

Lock Jaw 01-27-2010 12:40 AM

There was a promo?

Lock Jaw 01-27-2010 12:40 AM

:shifty:

Testicle 01-27-2010 12:48 AM

Anyway, his tear was very serious and I'm surprised that he is coming back this early (very reminiscent of Cena's return at the rumble). I think that they should turn him face as soon as possible, he has been heel for 5-6 years now, yet you can tell the fans wanted to cheer for him before his injury. Sets up a match with Jericho at mania.

Sixx 01-27-2010 12:49 AM

I never recovered from a torn Achilles tendon, but then again I didn't have that kind of money for a rehab.

If you had recovered would you be in the rumble? IS that the only thing standing in your way?
