Before seeing this bracket I thought Delirious would win this, but I don't know if he will beat Richards.

I am still rooting for him, but IDK.

I would love to see Generico or Delirious win this

The Gold Standard 01-26-2010 11:41 PM

Generico would be great too.

Don't count out King either

Mr. JL 01-27-2010 12:20 AM

Definitely rooting for Delirious.

Generico/Steen final

What Would Kevin Do? 01-27-2010 12:26 AM

Interesting to see how many feuds/alliances could be in the finals

Steen/Generico
Titus/King
Richards/Edwards
Steen/Richards
Generico/Edwards

Davey really does not need a TV title, so I think it's safe to count him out.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-27-2010 12:29 AM

Seems to me that the obvious solution is Steen beating Generico and basically becoming ROH's new Samoa Joe type machine.

I can see Kenny King winning this.

OLE!

ROH can be very unpredictable with their booking, but following the logic of these brackets, I feel we will get Kevin Steen going over Rhett Titus. Colt Cabana has got a pretty good shot at beating Eddie Edwards, and Steen vs. Cabana is a great semi-finals match. I feel that Steen would win that, and move onto the finals.

Davey Richards is always booked strong, so I could see him going over the usually booked weak Delirious. Anything else would contain shock value. Kenny King is receiving a bit of a push, but I think El Genercio looks pretty weak if he doesn't go further than the first round here. So Richards vs. Generico as the second semi-finals match. My heart says El Generico, and with Richards being busy with Gabe Sapolsky, they could have Generico go over here. I could also see Steen costing Generico the match, or Richards just going over cleanly. But I have a gut feeling that the main event will be Kevin Steen vs. Davey Richards, where it could be either guy's match.

I think both Kevin Steen and Davey Richards would make strong first ROH World Television Champions.

I think the final will either be Edwards vs Richards or Steen vs Generico. Most likely the latter. Steen is my favourite to win it.

I quite liked the fact ROH only had one singles title. Not sure how I feel about this.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-27-2010 08:00 PM

Would love to see Delirious vs. Generico in the 2nd round. That'd be nutty.

Mr. Nerfect 01-28-2010 09:24 PM

I don't know why, Supreme, but your post just made me want to see a nutty series of matches between two masked wrestlers. You could have won wear the same basic attire to the ring as the other, and then during the match, he puts on a fake version of his opponent's mask, puts his own over his opponent's head, and then hits them with a chair or something to get them disqualified after assuming their identity.

I personally hoping and pushing for either a Colt Cabana vs El Generico or Kevin Steen vs El Generico tourney final. I think that either will be a Match of the Year to remember candidate when it comes to nominations from the Ring of Honor material come the end of 2010.
