Can't do a general analysis for my Broncos until McDevil runs Marshall and/or Orton out of town.
But I'm liking our #11 spot in the draft. |
Tbh I really don't follow the college scene enough to know anybody...that being said, Giants definitely have to go D with the first pick, preferably LB.
|
Well, the bills have a decent pick, a new but shitty regime and are changin to the 3-4....so will hopefully be and eventful offseason.
|
It's crazy to look at the teams from 1-16 and see how many are stable at QB and then look at 17-32.
Which sucks for most of those early picking teams because there's not much to get excited about with the QB selection this year. |
Clausen, Tebow, Snead, Bradford, McCoy (dunno if he declared) just to name a few off the top of my head. If anybody is looking for a QB the draft is the way to go. 2010 QB free agent class sucks this year.
|
Doubt any of those guys except maybe Claussen will do a thing in the NFL.
|
If the Rams don't get Vick, I want Clausen/Bradford
|
Rams should build their lines first.
|
I don't think Clausen or Bradford warrant the #1 pick in this draft. Rams should take Suh. He's the best player in the draft and with him on the line it makes their investments of Long and Carriker better. Plus its Spags, we all know he loves his defense.
I could see them taking a McCoy/LeFevor in the later rounds. To work behind a stop gap QB for the time like a Vick or Campbell. |

Rams will draft the DT that everyone creams over. After that it's a crap shoot.
I'm guessing my Lions will draft Eric Berry. Would be ok with that. According to OchoCinco, TO is going to come to Cincy to play with him |

the Lions should take Russel Okung so Matt Stafford doesn't get beaten to death

As tempting a duo or Berry and Delmas would be in the secondary for the Lions, I think they lock up Gerald McCoy to beef up that D Line. Playmaker, creates pressure and helps in the run defense. As for LeFevor, I really liked what I saw from him at the Senior Bowl that whole week and I've become very high on him. I think with a good combine and pro day he could move into the 3rd round. |

The final 8 teams all get hosed by the lack of a CBA:

I have to say I really think all 3 QB's are staying in Philadelphia next year. McNabb will be back no doubt about it. Rumors that Cleveland has some interest in Kevin Kolb, which makes sense since Former Eagles GM Tom Ecckerd(spelled that wrong) is now there. I think actually he has the highest chance of being delt. Michael Vick is staying. He will not get traded. I'm telling you Andy Reid will want to keep Michael Vick. |
Tebow and McCoy won't go anywhere in the NFL
Have I mentioned that I can't stand them? |
Well I'm sensing a lot of anger in that post Jeri.
I'm not very high on either, but I think McCoy has a better shot at succeeding. |
McCoy will go the way of a Chris Simms. That's not a bad gig, but I wouldn't consider it "going somewhere"
|
I could see that for McCoy.
Tebow, I'm just not liking his chances at all. I mean they were blowing him all Senior Week and sure he progessed as the week went on in practice, but overall it was nothing that special at all. And he was even worse in the game itself. Just really ticked me off how all cameras were on him, when guys like Lefevour, Robinson, and Jarrett Brown were out performing him. |
Tebow goes the way of Ryan Leaf
|
No, but none of these guys will go high obviously
|
Tebow will go way higher than he should. I think hes like round 5...and he might go to the Jags in like round 3.
|
Can't wait to see Suh be a beast in the NFL
|
Dunlap will be beast. Bradford and Claussen I think will both bust.
And almost every single linebacker that's drafted in the 1st round turns into a solid starter , like barely any busts. Stupid Bobby Carpenter:rant: |
yea, I can see Clausen being the next Joey Harrington unfortunately. I mean I love the kid, but he's no NFL QB. Golden Tate would be a great pickup at WR I think though
|
I wouldn't compare Clausen to Harrington, Harrington played in Jeff Tedfords system while Clausen ran pretty much a NFL offense while in college. I really think that projects well for Clausen, since he's not going to have to run something totally different when he gets to the pros.
Bradford is interesting, people make a big deal out of the fact that he was in the gun and throwing it a lot and say that's a negative. I can understand but at the same time Tom Brady & the Patriots ran almost 80% of their plays out of the shot gun this season. It's not like Bradford was out there rushing for a ton of yards doing zone reads like Colt McCoy. I think if he ends up on a team that isn't completely garbage ala Sanchez & the Jets he could be end up having a productive career. |
Would really "dig" the Jets drafting Golden Tate. Doubt he will that far though.
|
Browns cut Donte Stallworth
|
I could totally see Jacksonville drafting Tebow just for the fact it would put asses in the seats here. Granted he wouldn't be the answer at QB, but apparently, neither is David Garrard. Garrard plays when he wants to, but a lot of the time he doesn't want to. Him and Del Rio got to go.
I could also see Jacksonville taking either Pouncey or Dunlap early. The Jags take defense a lot and Dunlap would help strengthen that D-line greatly. By taking Pouncey, they'd have 3 green guys on the O-line, but give them a year or two and they'd be sick. Monroe, Britton, and Pouncey. Could be a pretty amazing line. Would really be funny if they took the other Pouncey next year when he comes out. |
I would be surprised if Jacksonville went any other way from drafting Tebow. It is the choice everyone has thought they would go with for a while. Even if he doesn't go in the first round (which is a huge reach) I think they make sure they get him in round 2 or 3.
|
Depending on his combine, which could then lead to him possibly being a Raider since Al Davis loves his work out warriors, I can see Derrick Morgan as a Jaguar. I think he's the best DE coming out and would actually be the answer for them for the lack pressure off the edge, an area which they have failed in years past. I'm talking to you Derrick Harvey!
|
Where do you guys see Peppers ending up?
Atlanta Pats Packers Skins Giants I know its going to come down to the highest bidder, which could very well be the Skins, but does he land with one of those teams? Does another team come forward? |
Giants won't sign him.
