Wrestlemania VII on Coliseum Video
 

Back when I was a kid, I bought Wrestlemania VII on VHS and it's produced by Coliseum Video. Two questions:

1) During the Randy Savage/Ultimate Warrior match, a portion of it is cut out. The match goes from Savage dishing out some punishment to the Warrior, to all of a sudden having the Warrior in a chinlock or something. Anyone know why they did this?

2) The Road Warriors/Power and Glory match didn't make it onto the tape. Why?

To the second, I'd imagine it was just cut for time on the tape. Matches from other shows, like SummerSlam 92, didn't make it either.

Another example is the tag battle royal being cut from the Mania 14 tape.

Maybe it depends what version you get. I have the Wrestlemania I-XIV VHS box set and I know the tag battle royal is there. Can't remember about the LOD match on Wrestlemania VII though.

Yeah, I had the original release for 14 and it started with the Light Heavyweight match.

The Mania DVD set is uncut though. A lot of matches I know are in there that aren't on older tapes, especially 1-7 or so.

It's weird, I have Wrestlemania 1-7 and 9 on VHS from Coliseum Video and as far as I know everything is there on all the others except 7. I home recorded 8 and 10-21 so I've never seen any of the released versions of those to know if anything is missing. Pretty interesting about the Tag Battle Royal being left off Mania 14, especially since that saw the reformation of the Legion of Doom.

Interesting note about Summerslam 1992: I have the original broadcast home recorded and some of the matches that were cut from the PPV made it to the official release VHS. Remember being confused as hell when watching it in the Vault a while back.

Maybe LOD was in the room while Savage fucked Stephanie. This would answer all 3 issues being discussed in this thread
