HBK deserves more titles.

HBK and Jeff Hardy are my two favourite wrestlers.
yet it PAINED me to see jeff win his second title reign, because in the back of my head all i was thinking was "if he wins one more, his equaled HBK. he doesnt deserve that"

CM punk didnt deserve to win his third title reign in this theory also.

Undertaker is in the same catergory

for two absolute legends of the industry to only hold 3 (HBK) and 6 (taker) title reigns is ludicrous. people like Batista, edge, cena, orton, and dare i even say it, jericho, do not deserve to have more title reigns then these two men.

im not saying they dont deserve the title reigns they've had, especially in jerichos instance, all im saying is taker and HBK deserve more.

Also remember there has been two World titles since 2002. Guys like Austin, Rock, Bret would be at 10+ titles if there was two back then

Agreed. Although, to be fair, HBK has held the WWF Championship three times and the World Heavyweight Championship once. Edge has held 9 world championships. There's something disgusting about that thought.

I think it speaks louder that they don't have the reigns. They are, in essence, equal to titles. Beating them is just as big as winning a title.

The titles should be put on current stars. They shouldn't put them on people just to inflate title numbers, they should be put on people who don't have that kind of status to give them a bit of a bump in status and to show the fans "yo, this guy's the real deal".

That said, the titles are a mess anyway.

Yeah true HBK has 4. Edge having 9 is pretty crazy but i'm pretty sure like 8 of those have been less than 3 months long

You do understand that IF HBK or The Undertaker wanted more title runs they would get them, don't you?

There is actually a lot of extra 'work' involved in being the champion both at house shows, on TV and on promotions.

Michaels at this point in his career is looking to be working less not more.

and im only relatively new to wrestling, only been watching it about 3, 4 years? seen most of the matches now tho, and have the jist of whats been and whats what.

i just could never understand HBK not been given a chance. who here would not go off if he won a title after mania?

I would have no problem with HBK getting a farewell run with the title before he retires.

With that said though, there is no belt in the industry that HBK could win that would add to his career. HBK's career is built around him being HBK, not winning a bunch of titles.

So what Triple H has won 14 or so times, Flair won 16 whatever... It only matter if they need it to matter. The reason they pushed that with Flair is because otherwise he wouldn't look like a threat to anybody.

Undertaker and HBK have had meaningful title reigns and don't need to drop it 10 times to be a legend.

Yes, and last I remember, 'Taker's last title run that ended Sunday night was his 7th, not his 6th.
