This. I think that the spot was good, and the bruising helped sell the pain. He was going for the 'this is my first chance to impress the WWE universe, so I have to fight through the pain' look. I didn't have a problem with him no selling the spot cause he was trying to feed off the moment.

I really like the way WWE is handling this, Danielson is going to be over because of it. Honestly, I am very suprised how much respect the WWE is giving him by doing this.

Which is really odd because they've known about him for years, he was getting tryouts in 2003, so why now? Anyway, I don't think this could be done any better, there is no way he doesn't get over after this.

When? I'm not saying you're definitely wrong but I don't know if NOAH ran the Tokyo Dome given it's size. And he wasn't on any of New Japan's annual shows there. Also, just because the Tokyo Dome has a big capacity doesn't mean they ever actually fill it anymore for a wrestling show.
