In all honesty, if you're a wrestler and your name is your livlihood then you should trademark it as soon as possible. And if you ever start to work for WWE and your name is trademark they'll probably change your whole gimmick to something else. Once you're done with the company go back to using your original gimmick.
Lastly, I want to say I'm not defending what the WWE is doing. In fact I think its pretty shitty. I was just saying it was in their right to do so.
