So, it's ok for you to be a fan of your team, but I can't be a Pats fan and RP can't be a Colts fan?
Grew up here, always been a Pats fan, my favorite sport and team. Watched them go 1-15, watched them blow picks and personal, blew money to get great seats to some big games, threw big parties for others, even have gone to some of the pre-season player dinners.
So, don't give me this "band waggon" crap.
That aside, yes, when a team wins the team becomes more popular, when they go to a championship game they are seen on a world screen.
Look at the Celts/Lakers of the 80's or Bulls of the 90's. Look at the Yankees, of 49'ers, Cowboys, Redskins in the 80's/90's.
How about the Red Wings?
You have people wearing jerseys of players that they wouldn't know if the player was standing in front of them.
But to assume because I'm posting about the Pats I'm a "Band waggoner" is crap, same goes for RP.
